What is going on my mates, I hope everyone has been extremely well.. or at least as well as you can be considering the state of the world.
I hate to sound like a broken record, but I want to apologize for how long the gaps in uploads have been. I won't bombard you with all of the reasons. But I will say, I'm just trying to get my mind right and process some very serious stuff that's happening in my family/personal life. But hey, we're all human and we all struggle, you just have to keep going and figure it out. Which is MUCH EASIER said than done.
Anyway, onto a more positive tone, my friends in Hot Mulligan aka pop punk's hottest new band recently released their sophomore album " you'll be fine ' on No Sleep Records
The title of this video: " Hot Mulligan: Pop Punk's Hottest New Band " is obviously somewhat of a joke, kinda tongue in cheek, but I genuinely believe Hot Mulligan is one of the best pop punk acts to emerge within the last 5 years.
I'll stop rambling now, but you should go listen to Hot Mulligan if you never have, at the very least go stream one of their tracks for free on CZcams or check them out on Spotify, Apple Music, etc, if that's the way you fly.
They're just the greatest dudes that deserve your support 110% and also happen to make some killer yippin tracks.

My old band opened for them at a bar in summer 2016 when they toured with Charmer. They played to abt 4 ppl besides the other three bands and they fucking shook the place. Three years later I’m walking through AP with my partner and they’re headlining the biggest spot in town that isn’t stone pony. Their come up has been insane to see.

i remember on the seattle run of the american vacation tour with seaway, trophy eyes, microwave, can’t swim and hot mulligan. it was december 2018 and they were the first act to perform. later on in between sets i was leaning back on a wall looking down at my phone and someone steps on my toe. i look up and it happened to be tades (the lead singer) and he apologizes immediately and i’m like oh it’s all good. i could tell that he thought i probably had no idea who he was, like i didn’t watch their set and was just there for the big acts. i was screaming every word of their set. it was a moment i somewhat cherish now

Agreed! Belmont is fantastic, and only continue to improve. Their newest EP is their best work to date. Can't Swim is another band seamlessly blending pop punk and hardcore
@James Black definitely! They seem to really be growing into their own and continue to form "their" sound. And their newest EP really shows that. And nice! Glad you checked out and like Can't Swim. I love that even though they have a familiar sound, they still have their own unique sound and mix of genres. Phenomenal live as well

I was at that set you pulled footage from at BLED Fest 2015. That was my first time seeing them, and watching them continue to grow and blow up like this has been awesome. Especially having grown up in Lansing. Awesome video.

this band is unreal. so glad i found them last year. the music is so raw and melodically catchy. love their guitar tunings. my favorite as of late has been analog fade.
I talked with Chris a tiny bit and he was SO kind, they were all super nice and down to earth. Its been amazing to watch them grow since I first heard them on their split with Everyone Leaves then seeing them in Denver 2017 at this tiny venue with a a couple small local bands. I love them lol

I saw them for the first time on the Nella Vita Part 2 Tour in Toronto. During their final song Dary (which is my favourite song by them, haven’t listened to their new album yet!) a crowd surfer jumped into the crowd and ended up falling on me and i fell on my ass. After the song ended Tades knelt down and kept asking if i was okay and he even grabbed me a water bottle. He spoke to me and my friends about some of his concert experiences for a bit before heading off stage. They’re really sweet guys and I cannot wait to see them again on their upcoming tour! This video is amazing btw!

i found hot mulligan during my last breakup and saw them live last month. they are amazing live and their music is soooo good. if you can see them live PLEASE go, they’re spot on and so cool in person.

Honestly dude thanks for this. I love their music, it is kinda consistent per song of sound which I hope as they grow they change. But god damn are their lyrics ever game changing. It's something I long for, a nostalgia hit if anything.

It’s crazy to see how far they’ve come. I remember All You Wanted by Michelle Branch came on my discover weekly on Spotify a few years ago and legit the next week I Fell in Love with Princess Peach was on it. I took it as a sign that I should keep tabs on them and I’m so glad I did. Excited to see where they go next!

First time I saw Hot Mulligan was 2 years ago at Bottom of The Hill in SF with Homesafe and Heart Attack Man. I didn’t understand the hype behind them until the crowd went fucking nuts during their first song. Saw them again the following year at Holy Diver (with Microwave, Kayak Jones, Fredo Disco and Jetty Bones?) and it was by far the funnest set I’ve experienced. Funny and down to earth people and they love interacting with their crowd. Love their music now
Finally got “you’ll be fine” on vinyl yesterday and it’s gunna be on there for awhile let me tell ya so good
the first time I saw them was around four years ago when they played a party room in a bowling alley for a small crowd of people in halloween costumes and it’s still one of the best shows I’ve been to. their music is great but seeing them live is even better.
Saw them on tour with senses fail. I had never heard of them before but a random guy at the show told me I would love them if I loved senses fail so I was excited. They killed it. Ever since that show I was hooked.
Equip sunglasses reminds me SO SO much of Shred Cruz by Mom Jeans Which I love big time.

I just got into them a couple months ago and they’re amazing. They just released a new album and it’s fucking great.
I listen to their entire discography every morning at work and i be singing along. Everything is so good. Such a unique sound and lyrics.

I was deathly ill. I was on kidney dialysis the better part of last year. It was a terrible time in my life. I cant remember what video I watched the you recommended this band . This is the first Pop Punk band I’ve been heavily into since like 2016, 2013-2015 was my Pop Punk phase. I slowly dived back into Black Metal after that but my friend showed me these guys about two months ago and they’re about all I’ve listened to since, I feel like I’m 21 again and I’m loving it!
