- I found not one but two of these gorgeous Polly Pocket-like Cinderella Castles around the same time. One was terribly yellowed and grungy but had all the pieces. The other looked great but was missing a few things. So I Frankenstein-ed them into one beautiful sparkly Cinderella Castle.
Apparently I deleted footage I'm so sorry guys. So here is a list of things I used to pull this off:
- Toothpicks
- Paintbrushes
- Toothbrush x2
- Baking soda/salt and water paste
- Rubbing alcohol
- Mini screwdrivers
- Baby wipe
- Paper towels
- Lots of time and bravery
Real Polly Pockets to come soon.

When I was a kid my sister had one of these. She would keep it on her dresser and it would light up. I’m totally sharing this with her. Love you
It makes for a pretty night light! I wish you could have the towers lit up but not have the chimes... As an option, that's make it look so pretty in the dark.
Oh my gosh that's awesome. Let me know what she thinks.
I would love to see more restoration videos like this! I love seeing toys from my childhood it makes me so nostalgic
Love pole en you
Oh my god I remember playing with this thing as a kid and I totally forgot about it but I clearly remember this castle, I didn’t even know what it was called or what it was from I think it was like a hand-me-down from my older sister or something. Either way this was a huge nostalgia trip for me.
Last time I was this early, that castle wasn't yellowed
🤓😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Oof
OH GOSH. I had the Under the Sea Starcastle.......they got glitter EVERYWHERE.
omg i had one of these when i was a kid! mine didn't have all the pieces, only the cinderella and prince, but i have very fond memories of it.
Love it . I managed to restore a Barbie bed set from the 80s just cause I was curious . I love the stuff this castle does when it strikes midnight.
Oh my goodness that'd be amazing. Did you take photos. I'd love to see.
My hubby bought me this one as well as the Beauty and the Beast castle for our first Christmas about a million years ago. Thanks to you I will be dragging them out of storage 😊🙌. Thank you Queen Bebut!
This brought me SO much joy. My mother had one of these that sat on a shelf in my childhood home. She use to let me play with it from time to time. This took me back to childhood that I completely forgot about. Thank you so much for this.
I would love to see more restoration videos :D polly pockets were my childhood and i have quite fond memories about them so seeing someone post the older polly's make me very happy :D
My daughter had one and we’ve just reclaimed it when she moved and didn’t want it any more.. We couldn’t even remember how it worked so looked thru CZcams and found you! Wow, thanks so much. We even have the key and then found most of the little figures, minus one of the horses. All 4 batteries were still there but think have removed them and the corrosion. Very happy. Now to clean it thoroughly and I’ll be following your tutorial with many thanks! It’ll be put aside for grandchildren. 😀
This was one of my favorite toys as a child omg I remember getting it from a yard sale. I was obsessed with keys so I wore the key that it came with around my neck to school & everyone would ask what they key unlocked & I would say “it’s a secret” lmao wow what fun memories!
A friend of mine had this castle and we loved playing with it. This video really took me back. Amazing! Thank you Jen.
OMG I REMEMBER HAVING THIS AND IVE BEEN SEARCHING FOR YEARS TO REMEMBER THE NAME THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
Love when people give old toys some much needed love
I had this castle as a child. Great memories. I had a good bit of Polly Pocket toys, but this was my all-time favourite one.
I love this channel; it''s so genuine! I often play your videos to fall asleep to because you're so wonderfully descriptive with everything your're doing/seeing!
My castle that my dad bought me when I was 7, is sitting across the room from me. This is awesome to see!
Aaaah that was always my dream toy when I was a child 🥰
Welp, now that the prices‘ve exploded; for some reason it ain’t anymore.
Oh my god I'm crying!! I had this as a young girl and have always wondered if I would ever see it again! I am only 13 and think about it often! Thank you for this video
Recently found your channel and I love all of your Polly videos. The nostalgia 💕. I’d love to see your vintage Barbie collection too.
I am only 15 and I remember my grandmother had one of these and I used to play with it a lot , I saw the this video and man it was a blast from the past !
Yess! I love restoration videos, and was so great to watch
I forgot that I had this as a kid and all of my play memories came back. Thank youuuu
Oh my God the nostalgia!!! I had this castle!! Did not know the cottage opened lmao, and mine was missing everythinggggg
I love miniature stuff and so far this is the best i have ever seen! Ty!
Loved loved loved this! Please do a video of your Polly collection!
Man, the details and quality of this old toy is incredible! Nowadays lots of toys are of a much poorer quality and no detail and there are some that is good but it is pretty hard to find amongst all the crappy ones.
Nice pp restoring! Love this vid
Ahhhh I use to have this when I was little and absolutely loved it !!
This was so satisfying to watch 😍 I love restoration videos
Congratulations Jen, you did a fantastic job and I think you have a lot of patience.
Love this Jen, beautiful restoration!

This video went straight to my heart with those chimes of midnight!!!! I'm not crying, you're crying! Nice job
You did a great job with that. Congratulations on the awesome finds.
This was such an incredible treat. Please do more like this!!
Oh my god, I had one of these! I used to love making the dancers spin around. Wow, I'd totally forgotten about it.
Omg! Nostalgia, my cousin and I played with this set all the time! 💕💕💕
Oh my gosh I still have mine that I picked up from a flea market as a little kid!! I didn't know anyone else still had this.
I would also love more of restoration vids. And I would also love seeing your crafts! ❤️
Oh my gosh, I used to have one of these when I was little! I completely forgot about it until I saw this!
AAAAH! I had this castle as a kid! About everything was missing from it, but It suprisingly worked still. I am so shocked about the cottage tho, because I had NO idea you could open it, and I am now worried if some of the people might still be in there..
I didn't have any dolls in the right size, but I do remember I had some old tiny dog figurines. So my Cinderella castle has become the Puppy Castle.
Jen this is amazing! ❤️ Seems like you’re feeling better too!
I am, thank you 🤗
The midnight bell scared me- but this is super nice! I've never seen someone attempt to restore an older toy like this?? I really enjoyed it.
Starcastle OMG I had so many castles like this when I was young
omgosh I had one of these when I was little!! I got mad at my brother and used it as a battering ram through his door.. worked very well!
I use to have them omg I use to love it! My mom have it in storage with all my Polly and all my toys. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I remember the top use to glow and the front circle to!
Usually I watch videos on 2x speed, but this was so cool I watched it on regular speed. Please make more content like this
These things are my childhood!!! I wish they still made them
I started to tear up
My cousin had one and we use to play with it every weekend ♡ good childhood memories
I barely remeber this item when I was a kid (I was 6 in '96). Totally looks like something I would have loved to play with lol
OMG I STILL HAVE MINE WITH MOST OF THE PEICES. You did such an amazing job!!!!!!
please consider making more videos like this!! love them !
Omg I had this as a kid, I found one of the horses from the set in the attic 😭
Great job girl This Cinderella StarCastle From 1996 looks good as new for 2019
I know the younger viewers might not care as much but this has been a fun bit of nostalgia for me. I'd love to see more videos like this.
I just purchased one n waiting for it. I believe I will paint it because it doesn’t have much color. The castle does look much brighter n really nice.
Thanks for sharing. Will try to restore the one we have here😊
I think this kinds of video will interest a lot of people, specially if you are going to show and explain an even harder restoration.
It would be an interesting feature to your channel, since i didn't see any other toys channel doing these.
Also I really hope you gain even more subscribers, you really deserve those. you are the only toy channel that I can watch, relax and actually have a good time! I enjoy your energy and your voice since is so natural and not forced to sound "girly" and recited.
I hope you the best!
i used to have one of these! it was my favorite, i still probably have it around somewhere in a box!
I had this! I remember playing with it so much. I was born in '96 but stands to reason that it may have been released later in Aus.
I literally just got two of these and was wanting to do the same thing, thank you so much! 💖
No problem!! How you enjoy the process
I loved this toy so much when I was a kid. I still think it was a very well done toy, when you opened it up, it was like it had little fun alcoves and what not and idk I remember I had a lot of fun with it and overtime I lost some of the pieces, some of the flags broke off, and I don’t think it chimes or makes noise anymore. And I lost the key for it and had to use a butter knife 😂. My mom told me my niece has it now and plays with it still.
I had one of these!!! I loved it sooo much!!
I used to have a bunch of star castles when i was a kid, including this one AND the one that turned into a teapot with the tops of the castle towers turning into tea cups. But alas, I gave them away to charity stores years ago.
Omg I used to have one of these! I played with it all the time. I loved the fountain ⛲️
Wow ball Cindy looked like a body builder with those puffy sleeves and that pose 😂
More videos like this please ❤️

Thank you, it is so beautiful, I wish I could repaint the characters to fix them up... But then they wouldn't be original
yes, more restoration videos would be awesome to see.
This inspired me to want to fix up this old barbie Van bus thing my mom had as a kid in the 80s😍
Oh man if you do, share photos!!
Cinder-Jenny comes to the rescue cleaning the castle!
Great restoration. Honestly I would have just deep cleaned the one that was complete but you do what makes you happy. :)
Great job & very interesting video !
