This is a textbook example of what a big, expensive playset is and should be. This is 10x better than the LOL surprise dollhouse, I love that all the playsets match but cna still be played with separately, and there's no shortage of characters! I would have had so much fun with this as a kid.
The way these are made is sooo clever - When you open it up, the bottom floor bay window turns into the top floor bay window, and numerous other space-savers like that.
Auggghh! I love the old aesthetic of these old toys, the softer colors and more overall bubbly style is what I live for, new toys are just way too bright and horrendous cat-poop-baby-monsters.

Here's a theory: Polly is the Mayor & she's going to all these places like the toy shop & the school as a publicity stunt, and she's also taken advantage of the early 90's house prices & bagged multiple investment properties. Polly is a baller.
Maybe its polly as she ages..like at school, first job in pet shop, watching friends get married, mayor, retiring to the summer house/ski lodge. Also the TV was super 90s haha. Love it. They dont make stuff like they used to!!!

Two things I like about your channel is, that you speak towards children and adults in a way without sounding like you're talking to a baby. And the other thing is, that you honestly review the items and dont try to make them look better then they are. - When I was a kid, I wanted a Polly Pocket playset, but we could not afford it. Toys have been expensive but also good qualitiy compared to todays standards.
I remember being jealous of my friends who had these in the mid 2000’s(I think they were starting to disappear at that point) because I loved complex and detailed toys but Polly pocket was becoming the what it is now. This is low key nostalgic even tho I literally didn’t exist when this came out.
Omg i remembered having a lot of houses from this set, so i went to my attic and found a HUUUUGE BOX of pp like there is a hundred, now they’re all over the ground of my room and i’m feeling very nostalgic, thank you so much for bringing up all these memories

I remember as a kid, finding the toy store and falling in love with it. I had a few compacts that got passed down to my sisters, all of them found for super cheap at garage sales. Then they came out with the big Pollys and magnetic characters, just not the same.
Oooh, we still have that mat! I also still have a couple of these little house style sets that are in working condition. So cool! ETA Mitzi from the school set is the dark skinned character with the bun, Dixie is the pale one with pigtails. I loved that set! Still have most of it, too!
Wow I never even knew these existed! I always loved Polly pockets growing up but I was rather poor so I only ever had one little compact haha The other little 90s toy I loved so much was the Littlest Pet Shop stuff. You should see if you can score some of those bigger sets to top this!

Not gonna lie it's gonna hurt me a little to see the sealed playset be opened. ;v; I feel like toys from the 90s and back are precious gems to find mint in box. Polly Pocket was my childhood but the kind with the magnetic clothes, I also saw the little tv series/shorts things from a DVD my grandma got me. So it does have its own place in my heart! And congrats on 100k beebutts! You deserve them from being such a great toy channel!!

I was laughing and smiling with you throughout. The footage from The Falls was also beautiful. My husband is Canadian so of course we watched those parts together. Wow.. the memories though. Polly Pocket is a 90’s icon. There was soooo much detail in playsets back then. Even the simple ones as seen here. Each lot was unique, functional, and pretty. Thank you for sharing! I remember as a kid, finding the toy store and falling in love with it. I had a few compacts that got passed down to my sisters, all of them found for super cheap at garage sales. Then they came out with the big Pollys and magnetic characters, just not the same.

Wow I never even knew these existed! I always loved Polly pockets growing up but I was rather poor so I only ever had one little compact haha The other little 90s toy I loved so much was the Littlest Pet Shop stuff. You should see if you can score some of those bigger sets to top this!

I love how you describe the features of the houses as if they were real life houses. Me as a child would never have called the bathroom a powder room since it's missing a shower or tub. On another note, this is also fulfilling my 90s childhood dreams. Polly Pocket was my favorite toy. I'm 32. But also 12 as I watch this.

That is a childhood dream come true. I was born in 1991 and I was super into Polly Pocket. My mom got my sisters and me so many great Polly sets from thrift stores and yard sales.
