That food game was weird as hell, I could only play for 15 minutes before I just got too bored
I loved the old vhs age content reminder that peter did, ingrained into my memory
Can we maybe make a rule that these podcasts will always inculde 3 people as possible? After all these 3 people podcasts it feels weird to only have 2. So if someone has plops call James or one of the writers to join. Like you did that one time when both Peter and Ashton were plopping around and Ben did a podcast with James and Cat ... that was fun.
There's an interesting conversation to be had about updates that remove content from games rather than adding. But no, despite the fact that the posters in question don't even feature nudity, all we got was giggling about 'boobs'. Forget the details of the content - is it OK for an update to remove something from your single-player game that is not a bug?
If it's something that the developers/publishers decide doesn't fit their vision of the game, then yes. Remember, legally, you are only purchasing a license to play the game, you are not purchasing the game itself. If you feel you were misled or lied to, because of any changes they have made, then you can demand a refund.
Can't wait for MEEF to announce their next title.

on the dead space remake discussion, the dead space remake is more than just a graphical upgrade. the story beats are completely different and the whole story ties way better into DS2 as of the remake, which i think was needed, as having silent Isaac Clark suddenly be extremely chatty in the sequel was a bit jarring at the time. there's also the fact that there are no super boring tram loading screens between every single area on the ishimura, it was completely redesigned to be seamlessly explorable, which is a huge difference. i truly don't think there is any reason to play the original Dead Space now, and whenever someone asks me which they should play i will always say the remake. it basically brought all the mechanics, story and characters more in line with its sequel, which is still an excellent game!
I am playing the 'next gen' update of Fallout 4 and the loading times are still very long, despite running it from a very fast NVME, oh and I had to manually bodge it to get it to run at 120fps...
Classic Bethesda.

I read that the names of the embracer group entities are temporary and will be changed. I don’t think embracer care about the negative view there name has. As mentioned by embracer they only care about the shareholders.

Not gonna lie, kinda rude for Ashton to be like "Get a life!" about the posters. I mean I get it, they are just posters, and on top of that stupid "sexy" posters. Young people tend to act high and mighty but forget in the future when they are older, their greatgrand kids will probably be mocking them for being "old fashioned" and "out of date". So when you say "Get a life", remember, one day some adults will be saying that about something you used to like, that is changed to fit the future.
Like I said though, I agree its just dumb posters that have nothing to do with the game itself. And sexualized psoters none the less. I still wouldn't change something though. The past is the past. Those who want to erase it are doomed to repeat it.

Thinking about it, I do remember a ton of hate when the new Tomb Raider games made Lara non-sexualized and made her a realistic woman. Then again, it was a new series so it would make sense she was changed. And obviously it was for the better. I love the real world badass Lara more so then the old sexualized Lara. Though the original is what made love seeing woman in gaming. Not because she was sexual, but because we always had men as leads in games and women were always the damsel in distress stuff. It was cool to see a woman being the hero.
I sometimes have watched old black and white movies and tv shows and am indeed a bit thrown off by the black butlers who are steretyped as uneducated and saying things like "Yes boss, I can do dat for you!" It's offensive for sure. But I take it as something from the past.
In the end I do understand Ashtons point about the people complaining about about basically not seeing boobs and there are other ways to do that. It's such a small detail of a change that it shouldn't be a massive deal. As long as games don't go so far as to change every little thing. Could you imagine Duke 3D rereleased today with endless changes? There wouldn't be much game left lol. And yes, Duke is indeed a a very uh... charecter of his time.
Maybe you should be less sensitive about people speaking freely. They are free to say what they want.
Also you writing this much over someone saying "get a life" probably means you should get one.

I mean the get a life thing, your response doesn't make much sense as really it applies to her. She's a pretty opininated person. But I expect nothing less from the youth today who think they are the best group ever.
They fail to realize throughgout history, EVERY group of young people thinks they are better. Until their have kids and grandkids who then think they themselves are better and start calling the older generations names.
One day she will experience this and hopefully think back to how she acted.
