I was raised a Baptist in 1995 after reading sacraments in scripture and the Catholic Catechism I came into Church. I was exposed to Latin Mass at Chapel it is beautiful and made me drop to my knees. Now the Pope has taken Latin Mass from Franciscan order so sad. Today at Mass I almost couldn't believe it a protestant song dress is not proper I am the only one for respect of Eucharist wears a veil the priest doesn't have plate to put under my chin as I take on tongue. This is not what I want I want sacred music I looked in Hymn I didn't see one on Mother Mary. We must Pray. I am older have no car.

I argue the assertion that traditional church confessionals stand empty....go to an sspx chapel....you're gonna be waiting in a LONG line for the confessional....believe me...

As a traditionalist and lover of beauty, I abhor the modern face of the church in all its hideous incarnations. Fortunately in my area there are still a few priests who value the "extraordinary form" Mass.
Do you follow The Catholic Faith? Do you go to a Latin Mass? Do you believe the heresies, Bod, Salvation outside the Church, invincible ignorance, nfp... etc...

When I had my 1962 Latin Mass missal blessed by a NO priest, he asked me if I know how to use it. I was tempted to ask him the same or did he ever saw its contents or read or used the missal himself before. But for my upbringing and the Holy Spirit's guidance that I held my tongue.
the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the highest form of worship in the catholic church. It should be GOD-centered and all activities therein are dedicated and addressed only to God. Latin as the universal language of the church is used and the people should not feel excluded from the mass because they can not understand it, after all, the prayers and the sacrifice are directed solely to GOD.
This is so sad. Thank God for a Chapel with a order of Priest that has railing tabernacle in center and Mary and crucifix

Fernando Palma,that is not true, Philippines churches and faithful do the same ,dancing in the ailes, receiving the Body of Christ in filthy hands from so called Eucharistic ministers, standing receiving,the worst was when they passed the Body of Christ from one hand to another....sacrileges is everywhere esp today and in these coming days.

In short, go to the Traditional Latin Mass whenever possible. The Novus Ordo, while technically valid, is a lacking substitute for the TLM, and you should shun the NO if the TLM is available.

But ALL the Novus Ordo Masses are ILLICIT and of DOUBTFUL VALIDITY.

@@rosariumpio care to explain, how the Novus Ordo is illicit etc. You do know that the prayers have changed now especially the prayer of consecration. The previous Form was For you and for All. But its now changed to you and for many so that sins may be forgiven, do this, in rememberence of me. In fact the new catechism of the Catholic Church says the Mass is the Holy Sacrifice or Paschal Sacrifice. Vatican Council 2 also did not alter its meaning. I am a Catholic neither a Traditionalist nor a liberal or modernist. I do admire greatly the Traditional Latin Mass as offered up by the Priests of the FSSP. But the masses in the Novus Ordo are valid also. If Christ was humble enough to be born in a stable and be placed in a manger, then Christ is also humble enough to be present during the Mass at the Novus Ordo. Sure you may get bombarded with pseudo gnosticism or modernism in the sermon, but you can focus on saying a prayer during the homily.

For example: the sacraments of the Russian Orthodox Church are Valid BUT Not Licit.
Therefore, Roman Catholics should not go to the Russian Orthodox Mass.
Validity is not enough to please God.
