    yep. looking at one for 71k right now. Still debating if i grab it now or not because the 2025 refresh with more range and better charging is coming out and this model may depreciate even down to the 50s

    Happy Father's Day to you too sir. Loved the other Taycan and love this one too. You always get the best rims :)

    Congrats on your Taycan. I think you did the right thing in buying CPO as you are essentially getting 90% of the same car as a 2023 with the software updates. I recently bought a CPO Turbo S for less than the price of a new 4S with no options. It is easily the best handling vehicle that I have ever owned and the driving dynamics are incredible. I always get a ton of compliments when out on the road.

    Just got mine from Porsche N Houston. CPO, base with performance plus battery and a slew of other options 3k mi for 80k. I have the spyder rims, I really like the mission E wheels but I guess its unique though.

    Porsche options are crazy... Where else can you get a $160K sticker and still not have Sport Chrono! Got to love it!

    Awesome and beautiful spec! Would you say air suspension is a must have? The car is very low - any issues with scraping the front end? I am looking at at a similar spec within the year. And yes it is very hot here in Texas (I live in Houston)

    • @theeALister
      @theeALister Před 11 měsíci +2

      Air suspension is an absolute must IMO because of the adjustable ride heights. I never scrape because I drive in normal through certain residential areas and use lift mode over speed bumps as well as when entering/exiting my driveway.

      @@car_connections_392 its so funny... I logged on today to see some 4s reviews and I watched yours first and I'm both dying and applauding the idea of your continuous upgrades 😂 seriously, nice job.
      Do you miss things like an exhaust sound?
      Also, with a 4s it looks like the battery upgrade is pretty essential?
      The GTS is always my favorite Porsche trim so maybe I will go hunting for one of those, too

    I'm seeing a 2020 TT,...and it's less than $100k,...should I be aware and stay away? It has less than 10k miles!

    • @car_connections_392
      @car_connections_392  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Nope, I would make sure it’s certified pre owned. Make sure you have a charger installed at your house. About $250-$700 depending where you live. The current charging infrastructure is the not the best unless you have a Tesla. Good luck!

    The 4S is close to the e tron gt in comparison.etron gt runs about a 3.8 0-60 . RS would be close to the taycan turbo.

    Nice car but you must like loosing money on cars. Tell us how much you lost on the Base car and this one ? $30 to $40k I bet. Hope you keep the car as it looks stunning.

    • @car_connections_392
      @car_connections_392  Před 7 měsíci +3

      @RB-It8kt right, but I bought this used, meaning the first owner took most of the depreciation hit. Regardless I do lose money but closer to about 2-4K.

      In the UK £100 to £120k cars 2 years old now £60k mark. I did hear Porsche have stopped production for 3 months so dealers can shift / sell used cars. I have a 2022 Cupra Born EV (VW Vag group EV) and price now about £23k when it was £37.5k new. Looking at the prices for EV's other than Tesla (high demand in UK and Europe) I would expect further drops for the Taycan to below £50k and as low as £40k for base Taycan rwd cars in 2024 as 2020 car warranties end after 4 years. @@car_connections_392

      @MrSchn3ll Před rokem +1

      No one wants them - the novelty has worn off. I sold my Taycan after 5 months, couldn't wait to get rid of it. Manual 911's are my thing and it was a dumb decision - at least I got the tax credit and didn't lose too much on it. The car is not a Porsche to me, it's a compliance appliance.

    • @theeALister
      @theeALister Před 11 měsíci +5

      @@MrSchn3llSupple and demand. There has been an influx of pre-owned EVs as the first generation of many models have surpassed the three year mark. This is also accompanied by what was near record highs for pre-owned vehicles prices in 2022. The Taycan is no exception.
      Lastly, it’s still an excellent vehicle and is the one of the best cars that money can buy IMO. Do your own research and don’t listen to petrol heads that try and down talk EVs. This is very much a Porsche and 90% of Taycan owners will sing the praises about the driving dynamics of the car.
