Albinoni / Giazotto - Adagio in G minor (Piano Version)

Contrary to the widely held view, this famous work is not by Tomaso Albinoni. The Adagio in G minor for strings and organ is a mid-20th century creation by the Italian composer Remo Giazotto, who claimed to have found a fragment of an Albinoni composition in the archives of a German library. The version I perform on my Ibach grand piano from 1925 is the reduction for piano (riduzione per pianoforte).
The original title of the work is: Adagio in Sol Minore per archi e organo, su due spunti tematici e su un basso numerato di Tomasi Albinoni.
