  • The SAR K2P is a CZ clone that is made in Turkey. I have shot a little over 400 rounds and I want to see how many rounds I can shoot out of it before it fails. So far the gun has been performing very well.
The Ruger 9E is Ruger's latest edition to a budget series of handguns. The 9E closely resembles the SR series of pistols but does have some minor changes. All in all, the pistol has really impressed me.

I love my SAR K2P, never had an issue, sights right on out of the box, fits my hand like a glove and I bought it on-line, sight unseen. I re-did my sights with glow paint. My EDC.

I think you'll find your SAR K2P extremely reliable. Sarmilmaz has been in business since the 1880s and is the manufacturer of Turkey's military firearms. Turkey is the worlds 2nd largest NATO military.

I absolutely love my K2P. Bought mine for $280 best 9mm I've bought for that low of a price.

    Why steel?

you can always eject the mag and rack the slide instead of letting the hammer down with your thumb

Greetings! Nice overall review! Thank you! ☺ Would you recommend this one or the compact b6 for a EDC? If I may ask. I thank you very much for any help, as I'm very torn between the two. Decisions, decisions. 😉 Take care and God bless! I look forward to watching more of your videos.

You need to be careful shooting stone that close. I'd back it up 10ft

i dont know why some sites claim 16 rounds mags on these. literally all of them sent to free states is 17 round mags. the factory states 17 rounds mags. ive even seen advertised 15 round mags. i dont get it.
ive got mine in ceracote camo slide (factory; its just what they had is stock)
and ive put about 600 rounds through it i believe. 250 tula... never had a problem with tula or any other ammo. mine cycles hollow points fine btw. i wouldnt expect any issues.
i just do what i call the zombie apocolypse clean. i use an old cotton shirt to whipe what i can away. and ive oiled it once after the initial clean before ever shooting it.
i love that it doesnt have a decocker because in a bad situation you dont want your shit to decock if bumped (specially because it has dual safety selectors) anything that can pull me off target while firing i do not like. i carry 1911 style anyway (cocked and locked) with hammer fired thumb safety handguns.
your preferance may very. understandable preferance btw considering youre a glock guy. no thumb safety makes the decocker make a lot more sense.
anyway. enjoy that gun. im going to take mine to some handgun classes and see how it fares.

Is it good with +P ammo ???

I am planning on firing some +p ammo through the gun but the owner's manual states not to use +p ammo through the gun. I don't believe that running some +p ammo through the gun would hurt it.
