I bought the Pixel 7 Pro for the camera - Period. All the other stuff on it - is somewhat annoying. A WIFI network that works fine at home, but at work - Won't connect... Battery seems to discharge rather quickly - while I'm not doing much. The Voice to Text - after 5 minutes of trying that - Who Frak'n cares..... Really, who uses google assistant ???? I don't really regret buying the phone. The phone is a little too large to be really convenient. (Given that I have a Mac, and a couple of iPads) I had an Apple iPhone X - with an i-Watch - I pared them up. After a week of that - I had enough. I was getting sick of the Apple eco system. I found the Pixel Phone is a good withdrawal solution to the whole Apple Thing.... Forget the whole unsupported chinese Android solutions - Been there done that. And as for the Samsung, after watching the Mrwhosetheboss video on the battery thing... Passs..... IMHO - Google is really the only viable Android Solution.....

After trying the pixel 7 pro for a week I decided to go back to my s22 ultra. I really try to like it but there are a few important things that made me want to return it. Their fast charging isn't fast at all. Nearly 2 hours to charge is unacceptable for a flagship these days. But the number one thing is connectivity. The pixel 6 pro has this problem and now the pixel 7 pro does too. I know it use a weaker modem than qualcomm. My s22 ultra gets more data speed. But staying connected is still a problem with the pixel lineup. For almost a week the pixel maintain connectivity, although weaker. Then I went out of town for bit and it lost connectivity many time. It showed the "!" symbol. I did the airplane toggle and it continue to give me that "lost" connection. One of the main thing you tubers fail to test is connectivity. The most important thing on a phone are battery, connectivity and camera. I can live with some of pixel's shortcoming, but I can't have a phone who still have connectivity issues. Maybe next time pixel.
Yes, if you need a good modem, Samsung is the best. So if you live in sketchy coverage or travel through remote areas, the Pixel is worth avoiding and Samsung is superb at holding onto the barest of signals.

There has been reviews out about how the 7s video is much improved. Neither did you mention the face unlock. 2 weeks is not enough for a review bro
Not sure about those praising the video. From what I have been seeing on mine (have P6P and P7P) there is very little improvement. Still well behind iPhone and also behind Samsung. Photos are great though.
@@andyH_England behind apple in video yeah and what's about it, and behind Samsung in what way ?
@@norris6744 Behind in video with Samsung, though not as clear-cut as with the iPhone. I have all these devices and use them for video, but it is only my opinion. I do like the Pixel for photos and is my default.
Oneday there will be a phone that rules all, but ATM, there are pros and cons. I am just giving my take, and if you do not do much video, then the Pixel woul,d be what I recommend.
Pixel photos are not bright enough even if taken on sunny days. I returned mine.
My pixel 7 pro overheats, battery's life is mediocre, it loses connection many times special in roaming... I think I should have bought a Samsung instead..
Best honest review out there. The heat issue u mentioned alone is gonna make me not get it. I hope Samsung s23 ultra camera catches up to google if not I will wait till pixel 8 pro
I can't say I agree about the heating issue, because my pixel 7 pro has not experienced it at all and I have been using this device now for over a couple of weeks now. And these are reasons that I don't go by another person's usage or experience, I take them with a grain of salt because everyones experience is different with all phones.
@@RJ_Uploads I ty for the positive reply with good insights. Nice! Glad to know.i love pixel 6 and 7, they are leaps and bounds ahead of Samsung now sadly who lost touch
@@VirtousStoic no problem, I'm a big fan of phones in general, heck I still have the Microsoft surface duo as my second device, it's just something about that dual screen book like experience, although the charging port is fragile, for what you get at about $300+ is awesome, it's on Android 12L and stays updated like a pixel Device
@@RJ_Uploads no heating as well but i did get some freezing screen and 1 restart while taking a selfie. Scrolling at low brightness is very sloppy
No heating issue with my phone either. Just gets little warm on constant use sometimes.
Bro obviously you're high out of your mind 😂 the phone has two speakers not one pass that joint bro 😂
🙂
Watching on my pixel 7 pro 😅😅 got it yesterday. One things bugging me. Front cam photos arent as sharp as it used to be. Pretty blurred 🥹
Cornering gorilla glass 🤨
Flys past competition? It got embarrassed in the phone buff speed test. Pixel the phone of CZcamsrs that no one buys
"Seemless design" 😂. You sure you owned a Pixel 6? Cause there was nothing seemless about that glass camera bump.
The flares are really terrible. A deal breaker for me unfortunately.
Speakers are absolutely trash, there’s a difference with quality sound and just loud with extreme highs. That’s what the P7P has.
Pixel 6 Pro = Alpha test
Pixel 7 Pro = Beta test
Pixel 8 Pro = Full release?
I love how you have copied Marques Brownlee's video presentation and review format. Nice video.
No more best Android apps everyone is doing same either Samsung or Samsung vs iOS or pixel 7
Why are we wasting time to see this
Android fhd Sam Beckman howtomen
All are doing same content
S22 UItra all day. You forgot to mention you can't removed that stupid search bar on the bottom also no way to add icon pack, that is the most stupid thing ever. So I'm forced to use a third party launcher now is when they ral problem begins. Try using gestures with any third party launcher. Then you lag sturred drop frames ect. Then I'm forced to use the old buttons. That's why to me the pixel launcher is the worth launcher on Android. Just trash. That why I had the 7 pro and for those reasons I returned it. 💩💩💩💩
You clearly have no fucking idea of what you are doing.
first🎉
Im first
okay
I wouldn’t buy this phone solely because the chip is awful!! They can’t seem to make a good performing chip at all
