If you want magic eraser to speed up, stop scribbling over the subject you want to erase. Simply draw a circle around it. All of the scribbles you do is confusing the software because it's trying to figure out what it is you want to select.

Great review bro.. was debating getting one for like 400$ slightly used .l but that nubia z60 ultra looks insanely nice but more money and not sure how cell support is in the states ? Already have I iPhone 14 plus but it’s so boring .. it’s exactly just like my iPhone XR I upgraded from. I should have got a 13 pro max or not the bullet for a 14 pro max.. how’s the zen phone 9 compared to the pixel.. I want something good for streaming and telephoto

Good video. Would've loved it if you talked more about the AI capabalities (not just picture editing) and let us know if the 8 Pro holds any advantage on that front. But yeah, hardware-wise one can do much better than the pixels for the price, though I'd assume anyone buying it is interested in the software & camera experience more than anything.
What AI? It's Google assistant and camera related changes. The AI we know today (which should be called Machine Learning) isn't really present in the phone, or at least isn't exclusive to any phones really. Things like Bard rely on servers, not phone hardware. From what I've seen, the Pixel 6 Pro is able to do everything the Pixel 8 Pro can do, just would be slower, so they block it with software (except 8k video because the Tensor G3 supports it only, though no Pixel can shoot that natively). So we deal with hardware and the limitations that they include because of that. Just like every other phone company, the year over year upgrades aren't worth it. From the Pixel 5 or 6 Pro, I would say for sure and maybe
LG phones used to be the best bang for buck hardware-wise(I bought a couple) but then they went under. I don't think it's a good thing for Google, they may eventually kill the pixels if profits don't increase.
Samsung fiscal year 2023 was absolutely horrible. Android companies are struggling while apple is laughing to the bank and gaining marketshare
Scored a used one on eBay unlocked looks great haven’t received it yet paid $353 total it’s for my grandma she lost her s20fe so this is a good replacement for her I think and I’ve got the pixel 8 pro myself I love it I work for T mobile I think the pixel 7 pro is a steal right now in the used market

Nice vid, just pulled the trigger for one of these as I think Amazon is dumping the stock to make room for the 8a - as a result, got it for 50% off MSRP which is a killer deal.
I've been using a pixel 4 for the last year and a half and finally decided to upgrade. Was gonna go for the pixel 6 but noticed that the 7 (not pro variant) wasn't that much more so I went with that. I honestly didn't pay attention to the phone market for all of '22 so I wasn't sure if choosing the 7 over the 6 was worth it, but from what I've seen, it seems to have been a really good choice. Any thoughts on going from the 4 to the 7?

I have the P7P and it's been a great phone. I like the bigger 📱 phone and Android 14 made it even better.Better battery life and thermals.

@@joshreyes4647 heavy use a lot of gaming definitely takes a recharge a little more then mid day. I have had phones that were worse, so not the best but not the worst.
@13:30 Yes, agreed, coming from a svelte Sony Xperia to this one, it does feel like I need to do some extra gym work on my forearms to handle the 212g for long periods... :D

I got the 6a as a replacement when my Fold 4 was being fixed and I enjoyed it a lot, so I returned my 6a when I got my fold back and thats when i realized that I got bored of the apple and samsung phones. So I ordered the 7 pro at a good price, hopefully the 7 pro offers more after using the 6a.
I got a 7 pro for $299 (256GB) and its been a great deal. I got a 7a from my carrier contract, but I sold it because I was getting into mobile photography and got annoyed at the plastic back.
Always amuses me how people equate "It's a pretty big phone" to "so It does feel sturdy".
Certainly in terms of dropping things, bigger things are more likely to break - try with a shot glass and a pint glass.

Umm, no... That's largely a product of momentum, which is affected mostly by mass, not by size. It's also significantly affected by structural integrity. Size is probably the least important variable, the only way size matters really is in how it would relate to structural integrity assuming mass, materials, and structural design were pretty much the same.
However, none of those other factors are the same, so your conclusion is frankly unfounded.

Take a rock the size of an 8oz cup and a shot glass and drop both and tell me which one breaks.

I said a pint glass, made of glass, and a shot glass, made of glass, not a rock and a glass. That's the same thing when talking about biomechanics and how the law applies to that - all animals are mostly water - i.e. density is constant.

The used market is an essential point. Pixels fall in price pretty quickly, which makes them an essential pick for anybody who wants quality at a discounted price. In terms of the best android phones, Samsung and Google are the only options for me right now. And it seems like the 7 year update promise hasn't had an effect on the price of Pixels in the used market, so now it's better than ever to get a pixel 8 series for cheap even 1 or 2 years down the line!
Pixels drop in price so quickly cause they're not popular, reliable, or good value for money globally. Google is only company I know of that takes away great smartphone features via security updates.

Just ordered a used one off eBay for £240 couple of little scratches on screen but good condition boxed , my note 10 plus has now stopped getting updates and I have a fold 4 but prefer a normal phone tbh easier to text etc .
I have a P8 but got a great deal on a 7 Pro and it's one of my daily drivers. Love the size. I'll have it until the P9 Pro is released.

7 pro is a more well rounded camera. If camera is priority then go for 7 pro. If you want more updates and latest processor then go for 8
either u get p7p or wait for pixel 10

Just got one and hate it, fingerprint scanner is very temperamental but the thing that i really hate is the yellowish whites. When i use my old phone and pull up a white screen, its white, when i do the same with the p7p its very obviously and annoyingly yellowish, no way to change it. Tried all the tips online and it seems that this is the way it is!
Google Pixel 7 is a great phone it has a whole year and 4 months and kill it gets Android 15 and if we have a year Before Android 16 drops and then it won't get Android enjoy 17 the best 2 years and 4 months before Android 17 comes out and when Android 17 comes out it will still have another year of secure patches and for around $220 on the refergus market you can get practically A Brand new Google Pixel 7 like I did And the phone is great

In Australia, the price difference between the new 7 and 8 Pro is between $500-600AUD. For me, the extra features don't justify the price. The Samsungs and Apples are either too expensive, lack features for a smaller price point or are an Apple product. IMO anyone who pays over $1000 AUD for a phone has rocks in their heads...hell even $600 is too much but hey...it all only goes up.

So with the 7 pro I talk to Google rep. 2 months ago and she said 5yr of software update and security update. So that up to android 18 I believe for 7 pro

It’s in the “quick” settings. Used simply to turn on and off whatever feature, so having multiple steps to turn on/off WiFi or cellular is literally going backwards.
Your final thoughts are exactly like mine. Pro version with regular size. Just like the iPhone line up. Sadly we are never going to have that because Google is Google. Their eco chamber is thicker than Apple.
my current pixel 4a 5g worked well for 2 yrs (bought in 2022) but since last month ive been having mobile netwrok issues! cant make calls, says, " Radio off, turn off airplane mode to make call". Tried everything to fix it but it just didnt. i wanna buy p7pro but scared it might have the same issue after 2-3 yrs?

Ive had the pixel pro for like 8 months now and the screen has failed, the volume buttons have just fallen out so have to keep it in a case, and when wake up on 100% battery it drains to 80% before even leave for work 2 hours later, barely lasts a work day when it's barely being used. Super laggy and bugs out on the reg. Also uploading photos from it is terrible because the quality is often degraded where it isn't on and it doesn't let you access your albums in your gallery when trying to upload by default. (so you can't just favorite the pics you wanna upload to Instagram in a series of photos you have to scroll through a list of tiny thumbnails from your recent photos and hope you can identify the good selfie from the tiny thumbnails. Android unfortunately is not the operating experience it was 10 years ago... Shit sucks.

I just got a used P7P for 305 after shipping and taxes and most of the reviews I’ve seen have been fantastic. It seems like a really good phone compared to my iPhone XR. I absolutely hate this thing.. the camera sucks, the battery life is horrible and it freezes and is slow all the time. I get it, it’s a pretty old phone but even for how much they are still I wouldn’t pay full price for it. I only have this iPhone because I got it for $75 bucks.
Only updates for a year or two more? Sounds like the Pixel 7 will be ewaste soon. Rather get the 7 years of updates with the 8.
It would be a good phone if it doesn't freeze screen and heat like crazy.
Mine was doing that and I contactd google on web chat and they sent me a new one under warranty. Now my phone works perfectly

These videos will discourage you especially the iPhone lovers it's all about the gigabytes battery life fast speed internet and it's better to have a 128 GB of data than a 64 GB data iPhone it discouraged me watching it they made me think the Google was a budget phone comparing it to a Samsung Galaxy A50 for the Google Pixel 7 unlocked 599 the Google Pixel AT&T of Verizon is $6.99 the pro is a 1000 is only a $100 less than the Samsung Galaxy S22 and iPhone 14 it is a flagship phone in the Google Pixel 7 a is 499 in refergus you can get him for about $200 which is a great deal it does everything They say it doesAnd it dropped October of 2022 too much you might as well say it came out in 2023 and if you bought refergus I'm sure they didn't buy when it first came out you're probably get an iPhone this 6 months old on the newest Android 14 still having security patches and a whole year and 4 months before you get Android 15 is up the date is not out of date and the price makes it better than the iPhone are the S22 And you get the same thing as they have the cameras better than the iPhone 14 and its battery is better

I own a Google pixel 7 pro phone and it is the world's biggest piece of junk on the planet! After only 6 months of owning it, it will BARELY charge anymore. I actually have to wake up during the night twice to make sure it's charging! Both the C type cord and regular USB charger I have in the car will not connect 99% of the time now.
Sounds like you just have a bunch of stuff in the charging port that needs to be removed. This happens to every USB C phone if you don’t pay attention when you’re plugging your phone in
