Sorry for your loss. I never pass on a U.S. coin minted in 1929 that I find at a coin shop/flea market, even if I have to pay a few bucks over for it. That was the birth year of my dad and he passed when I was 8, so I completely understand your connection with the 1993 Eagle. All the best.
My family is dumb, 8 children and parents. Never ever was silver and gold mentioned. Even now, with brother in laws, Uncles, Aunts, ect..."do you know what a American Silver Eagle is?" ahh nope, what is it?
