I got a great deal on some of these 1 gram bars so I was a little nervous when i got them so i tested them & they r pure silver I actually grinded 1 n half & tested again just to b sure!!!
Also have to add I got them from the same seller as you and he does have comments about them being fake. The times I purchased from them went smooth it's just the comments make me question the bars.
I bought some 1 gm bars from this same ebay seller, and some from a silver dealer. After studying these under a magnifying glass, I can tell the color tone of these are slightly more blue than the silver I got from the metals dealer. I would not buy from silver age again.
I have to question the Chinese bars. I have ordered some off of eBay for my collection and always check the seller comments. I do see a lot of comments about them being fake then again I do see a lot saying otherwise. I haven't tested mine yet but do have an acid kit coming in soon. On one ebay acct I see the seller recommending a spectrum test for the bars and not an acid test, wonder why? Any info is appreciated. Thanks.
the reason he recommends that test is that it is way too expensive for most people to afford. you gonna buy a 500 dollar xrf to test 50 dollars of silver? doubt it. specific gravity is cheap, easy, and accurate. I bought these. tested them. They are fake as the day is long. Returned for a refund. Don't waste your time. Caveat Emptor.
You have tested these? Do you have a scratch pad and the acid? Please advise. I just popped my silver stacking cherry, and now I'm really in to it. I'm buying from the same buyer. I think the gram bars are way cool and they would be way better to trade or barter with if we ever needed to. Resale they seem to bring more per ounce also. I just won a Silver Towne Ounce Bar and am crossing my fingers it aint fake....
@@Muscleupsanddangles Yes. Density + ultrasound + x ray is the way to go. you can silver or gold plate stuff on the surface that only the acid reaches.
Just ordered a lot of 20 of the ak-47 1 gram. Worth a shot since it's not too much money. See what happens. If it's all legit, I will be ordering a lot more.
I strongly recommend the original poster of this video retest these pieces. I bought from the same seller on ebay and these are definitely fake. the specific gravity is 9.86. Real .999 silver is 10.49. He seems to have bought a lot of these. As the seller is doing business across state lines I am considering filing a report with the FBI.
Figure these are 80% silver and you are paying at least 2x spot when you get them. I would buy only a tiny amount for currency and nothing more. Plus you can get them from a real seller NOT ebay.

Hey Joesmania, I have tested these bars with acid. Great products!
Thank you....
+SILVER KILLER acid test is a joke. you can't fake density. perform specific gravity test.
