@@baliksupper6043 I was very poor, didn't resort to making stupid mistakes. Most of these are their own faults, sure some of them get forced into selling or doing drugs but 90% of people make their own decision
Being from a working class background and witnesed my nearest and dearest fall foul to addiction, I can see both sides of the argument but I think people need to have more compassion in general. We all make mistakes but unfortunately some haunt us for the rest of our lives, especially when there's no-one there to keep you in check.

regarding the UK old-school scene, i was 25 in 1990, LSD and speed were big for years before Ecstasy and then cocaine. Our city in the west midlands went from no one doing it to thousands going raves and doing stuff to party. Illegal raves in 1988 with 100's there, and big races in fields with 5000 there all buzzing and dancing for 16 hours. over the next 30 years 25 of my friends and acquaintances are dead.
