David your story sounds a lot like my own, traveling from Dublin to London and we are the same age,, I’m still on the methadone and am slowly detoxing from that,, it’s been a long road but hopefully I’m coming to the end of it,,, I wish you all the best in the future David and hopefully you’ll reach your goals,,, take it easy pal
We're not hiding,folks who have had addiction and can claw themselves up from the pit and move forward,as Paul said it's people our age it's our real responsibility to ensure that the next generation don't fall through the cracks, hope all turns out great for yourself also.
It's David here btw but yep only through listening and real educational policies from everyone with a lived experience of addiction can we really make a dent in the nightmare that only gets worse from one year to the next.

Addiction a cunt of a thing some the most intelligent and well to do people I know fell into the vicious trap of addiction the drink took most them 😢
