the pots that dont have holes in them can be used as a cache pot. put the plant that is in a nursery pot inside the pretty pot
Love the way your video incorporated some nice mellow music during different times of transitions through the store. Also like how you always explain reasons and info and I also like it when you also address us directly by putting the camera on yourself and talk briefly to us about why you make the decisions you do like why not look g up everything.
Great finds and excellent video!! So easy to watch and understand!!
Also appreciate that you thank other CZcamsrs like Dawn at Hudson Vintage.
Again, awesome video!!
If a plant pot does not have a hole in the bottom, just place a potted plant that is in a cheap plastic pot inside and take it out for watering. I've done that countless times. And that blue glass sitting on the ceramic base look like a diy marriage...maybe a glass glued to a candleholder.
Yes a diy marriage is what I saw as well
I am so gratified that you are now being drawn more to the finer things rather than the cheaper, cutie things that you used to buy when I first started watching you. Very proud of you. You have really grown.
If it made $...who cares.
🌱🌱🌱 Hartford City, Indiana; whooda thunk !?😅
The pots that haven't been drilled can be used if you place pebbles about a third of the height and set a smaller pot with plant within. 🪴🌿🪴🌿🪴.
Could that have been RedWing pottery on the vintage handled white shallow dish ?
Aren’t you rude. It’s good to like everything.
I’m 63 & I’ve had my hair up in a clip to survive the unbearable heat! Loved the cat humor Noah!!!
He is such a treasure and sweetie. 😂❤❤❤these guys
Oh my my grand daughter listen with me on one of your videos. She just turned 5. Everytime we go into a store even grocery she runs to get a wagon & she says “nana this is our lucky cart” you have even made an impression on a 5 yr old. Lol
I love this so much!
I found a similar pottery vase from Iceland at Goodwill here in Florida! It's well made and unique..good score!
20:47 Spaghetti Aglio e Olio translates to Spaghetti w/Garlic & Oil, it's the recipe
You are right about fake plants in great pots. I went to an estate sale and found a fake plant stuck in a 19th century wooden lacquer Chinese tea pot caddy/bucket. I pulled the plant out and found the auction paperwork inside. I bought it for $12 and left the plant.
What a great haul Danni!!! Some truly beautiful pieces 🙏🎶💕
Susan what state did you go to High school? I went to school with a Susan same name, well...minus the Smith.
Those chickens! So cute. Who knew the value of
My mom had those Somayaki cups and the matching teapot back in the early 60's. We lived in San Francisco , where this kind of thing was widely available and cheap. I still have a wonderful Japanese ceramic lion, which she paid about $30 for at the time. That was a lot of money for us.
The Christmas dinosaur, i would put candy canes in it.
Oh good idea!!
I thought he was a fun toothbrush holder :D
The mark you couldn't read at about 24:00 is Red Wing Pottery of Minnesota. Hand painted under the glaze.
Love it when you say “ you see it “ 💕💕🤭🤭. It’s like looking for hidden objects. 🤣🤣💕💕🤭🤭🤗🤗
I enjoy your videos better with you picking the nicer things. YAY Danni 😊 You go girl ❤
Love that blue cocktail shaker!!! Great find
The unlv starbucks mug should have been picked up. The college mugs sell especially in spring and fall when kids get accepted to colleges and parents throw party or when go off to school. $20-35 range.
You found some good stuff at this store. I would never have thought the chickens were that valuable. I would have picked them up because they are cute.
Hey !Danni toujours intéressant de vous retrouver, pour admirer de belles choses et en savoir le prix. Il est vrai que l'on apprend beaucoup de choses avec toi. Au plaisir de te revoir. ❤
Yay Danni another awesome video. Thank You so much. I always look forward to seeing your wonderful videos. And seeing your amazing finds. Specialy at the end to see what you’ve paid and what it’s worth. I love watching the jewelry you find. Going to sit back now and enjoy your video. Hope you’re having a wonderful day. 🙏🏻❤️
I had those Christmas glasses--I got them at Sears when I first got married in the 70's. Brought back some memories for me!
I really loved this video! Something about the way you filmed, talked to us at all the right moments, you’re amazing finds and how you shared your thoughts on why and why not to get certain items. Thank you (and Noah) for all of your hard work!
I found the smallest tray in the nesting set here in Australia, recently. On the back is ‘Made in Japan’ stamped in a circle. Beautiful, mint condition and $3.
Love the marbles, the gray pottery piece with blue and the framed 2 elephants!❤
Just love those 3 turtles. That's a first. 😊
Nice full shelves there!!, you made great choices. Some day i d like to find those soma. Thank you for your time and video. 😊
I was going to mention that I'm loving ❤️ your background music you've been playing. I heard a bit of it when you were on the plane going to Jordan's once. I forgot to tell you that I loved 😍 it. So please keep playing the lovely music during your videos! Thanks Danni!
Love. How you have the music on then when you talk clear perfect mix❤California
Hi Dani! 👋 @15:33 plant pots that aren't drilled can be used with a plant insert the plastic pots that have slots on the sides. The pot itself looks really similar to my Haegar Pottery Earth Wrap series. It would make a nice complimentary piece that you wouldn't mind getting dirty. 😉 😊 (I know it's the wrong shape for Haegar and they were consistent with their signature.)
This store was better stocked than some of them have been lately. You definitely got some great deals. Those tea cups are stunning. Expensive chickens... who knew?!! I like both the Elephant picture and that really rustic looking frame. Hard to pick a favorite today.
BTW- rumor has it 2 new locations in your area by the end of the year. And the best part is one of them is a larger Deja Blue!!!!! ❤❤❤😊
Thank you for showing the turtles they are so cute
This is such a wonderful video. Loved it!
Those marbles were a steal!
Thanks for sharing another great video. I loved the angel may is my birth month. 😀🇨🇦
I'm enjoying your channel so much. Love learning from you
Spode tea cups beside Xmas glasses ,I think
You’re brave going out in that heat. Same temp here in N Az and I can’t bare going outside.
Wow really good finds and comps😊Those chickens, WOW!!!!!
For pots without drainage holes I just use another pot with drainage to pot the plant. You can water the plant, drain it and put into the decorative pot.
Awesome awesome awesome ❣️❣️❣️
Fantastic finds ❤
Video quality excellent 💯🎯 good for you Dani. Love you guys ❤️
Oh my goodness I love your Turtle so cute love her pool too ..I love watching you shopping ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Goody looks like she is living the good life!
Hello Dani front Sparks,Nevada
Love your videos, you are so much fun. Let's get shop done
Can't wait to see what you find
There are so many treasures to be found
Love your 🐢. Have fun and stay cool
It's been hot here in Sparks. Enjoy the Summer 😊
Fantastic choice of Gardiner's love them for my pots on the verandahs
The cups with the cutouts are Otagiri mugs
Love all your porches. This was a lucky day!
great video as usual. just had to say I love your nail polish. and that elephant and baby! yesss!! I'm glad you look at the little frames, I just moved and needed alot of new frames and they are expensive in the retail stores! I think that brown one looked like hobby lobby. that was shocking on those chickens!! score!
I would have picked up the cut glass lidded rectangular box. When the boxes like that are hinged they sell for over $100.
Patina on metal
Verdigris on bronze, brass, copper
(I just learned something.)
The Soma cups remind me of my childhood. My uncle was in the service and brought them back from Japan in 1961. My mom had the small cups like you found. My aunt had big tumblers and a teapot and just gave them to a thrift store. Gave them away!!! Ugh!
I saw on a antique restoration show to restore chrome that has marks (such as a car bumper or the lid of the blue flag drink flask you just bought), dip a smallish piece of folded foil (regular foil used in cooking / kitchen) in water and rub it. It works!
Loving the music that you/Noah are playing in the clips. I wish you would put that music on your recap… the recap music needs an update and that music is so Pleasant Thanks for another great video Dani ❤️
Noah you made me laugh out loud!🐱🐾😂🤣😂❣
Love your picks
Yes, we can complain about Goodwill...the higher prices and all. But whoa 😳 they have provided a ton a of resellers nationwide, with some very good income. So in many ways, they're like that proverbial "gift horse." And what if they didn't exist? 😮
When a plant pot does not have a hole in the bottom you can put about one inch or so of stones in the bottom for drainage.
I had one of those angel night lights when I was a kid!! ❤️
Awesome haul
Do you have a Habitat for Humanity stores in Vegas. They have some great stuff for a good price. Plus when you buy from there you are helping people buy a home.
Ours isn't very good sadly
Great finds!!!!
Lovely items! Stay cool! ❤
Great percentages today. Awesome!
Indoor plant pots 😊 nice video
When I lived in Phoenix I never minded the heat up to about 110⁰, dry heat really does make a difference.
We had two weeks of 117 two summers ago where I was. Nothing makes you appreciate 90 as much as two weeks of 117!
Nice values Danni..congrats!
Love the boughts of music. Would love more lol 😊
Very nice haul!
We had the brown rectangular canisters when I was a little girl back in the 60s! -Sharon
Heh, yeah, same. I felt like I was looking at Mum's kitchen from the 70's for a sec.
I put rocks in my pots that don’t have drain holes. Or marbles, or those bagged blue glass pieces at $1 store.
Super haul!!
You need to get yourself an automatic car starter so you could cool your car down on the way so you won’t be so hot when you get in.💖
I am only giving my opinion because you did a poll asking...on the pole i said i didnt mind the music one way or the other BUT in this video the added background music was very distracting. You would talk and then it would cut to loud lyrical music. You couldnt adjust the volume on the video because if i turned it down to lower the music then wjen you started talking again it was to low. I definitely prefer no music at all.
We are really working on getting the volumes right! Editing is tough work but we will get better I promise!
Caldwell just showed some of those from Italy🥰
I thought of her when I found this!
I hope you went back by the glasses to see if the cobalt blue ones that go with the vintage drink shaker were there.
George the Antique Nomad does really well with those.
Our Portland Rose City Vintage market is this weekend. George is in town for it. July 13th & 14th 2024.
Am I the only one who sees an impressionistic squirrel in the glaze on your leaf pottery piece? Goodness, you really did find some great items at this Goodwill. You often ask about an item, "should I take a chance on you?" Sometimes, when you do that, I hear ABBA's Take a Chance On Me in my head. But when you did that to the Buddha in this video, I actually imagined the Buddha singing it. (Maybe it's because I watched later than usual, but at least I had a laugh! 😄) Have a great day! 💞💕💞
I think that Buddha was pretty special with the detail in his eyes and smile. Worth a bit of oiling on the back to save him :) So glad she did.
You found your marbles!....as you used to say. Great find.
I love how you apologize (sorry, I'm gonna have to leave you,)and give a little tap to some of the items that you decide not to buy...esp the animal items. It's very sweet. ☺️
Hhahahaa, yeah, she gives them a pat like a pet :D It's cute.
Th angel is for the the month of May. The emerald is the birthstone.
Wow you hit a lot of home runs! Good for you.
I did not like that wine bottle holder was really ugly to me 😂😮
Yes
As soon as I saw the blue glass/ceramic piece, I thought it might be a broken wine glass glued into the top of a vase/candle holder. I don't know, but that was my first thought about it. However, whatever it turns out to be, it's still a pretty and interesting piece that would surely still sell for a decent price.
I love how you pat items a few times when you decide to leave them behind. It’s like you’re saying “ sorry” …..Roni
Hey Dani! Number 1😃
Love your nails,perfect haul!
I cut my hair very short because I could not deal with the heat.
Love your turtles now following you on tic toc
I have a horse plaque that says the same thing that the cat one does
Visited Vegas when it was120 degrees last week. Went to savers for first time, was impressed. Vegas strip has lost its luster.belligio no longer premo casino!👎.thrifting was more fun!👍
Those gemstone trees are easy to make. I watched a CZcams video and made two. The one you found is pretty sad.
At 3:27 the jar with no lid there was one in the back with lid. Do you need both to sell for that amount you showed or was that an individual price ?
That was through an auction house, I don't think I could get that value where I sell
You put small gravel the bottom of the pots for dranage
May I ask which Goodwill this is? Thought I had been to all of them but I’ve never seen such big and separate vase and pottery shelves. 😊
Boulder/Horizon
The pot that was cracked and crazy it says Redwing pottery
Noah 😂done eat em
Oh my mom had those blue daisy plates, forgot all about them until now. Drink lots of h2o its a hot one out there. Please remind pet owners to keep checking their pets and providing water, cool water often. Already hearing bad news reports for animals. My heart is breaking.🐾🐾
Wonder if that paperweight could be buffed/ground and take that company name off.
I think it's a topic worth researching, actually. Some things with logos on them are even more valuable. Depends on many factors.
Red wing!
Score!!!
Put a layer of small rocks in the bottom before you put your potting soil in
