    (Edit: whoops, forgot to explain this in the video - the game genies are for putting in a code that uncaps the score beyond 999,999 so there aren’t ties in competition.) Subtitles are now added in case anything was hard to hear over the noise of the convention! Thanks so much to the CTWC team, Chris Bidwell, Hal Hawkins, the judges, and everyone else who made this event possible. Special shoutout to BeastinShen who set up the stream layout in just a couple minutes after the normal CTWC livestream layout wasn't able to be located!

      Honestly makes sense with modern competitions. With internet being so popular the overall skill of players has gone way up so if most people are getting to the point they can get max score then competitive play would get stale fast.

    • @jdogsful
      @jdogsful Před rokem

      Is the game on the left meant to be twice as fast as the game on the right during the tournament? Seriously, if you watch, the game on the left drops blocks at about 1.5x the rate that the game on the right drops them, and the gamer on the left kept losing. Am i missing something, or am i the only one that noticed this?

      Killscreen just means level 29 of the game when the speed gets really high and it used to be impossible to play much. Now though bc of rolling and also even improvements in hypertapping people can play on 29. Pick up your cross and follow Jesus! The world is quickly headed for destruction, and sooner or later you will have to sit at the judgement seat and give an account for your actions. Belief in messiah alone is not enough to grant you salvation - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36). Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life! - Revelation 3:20.
      Contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13. Revelation 17 confirms that it is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God tho.
      Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc and you should get a response. Have a blessed day!

Kinda nerdy church kid stuff, but i loved it), and that spirit of friendly competition is so great. I think this is what sparked it for a lot of young people to actually try and play the game. I even tried it out myself as I am a big Tetris guy and I never heard of it being a competitive one, but unfortunately I live across the planet and couldn’t explore more in this area. Across 50+ years of age difference between the youngest player and the oldest player in our home, we can all gather behind the TV screen and spend countless hours and nights enjoying Tetris. With this one, I'm guessing there is a time limit which means like say you have 5 minutes to see how many points you can score and highest score wins. With fighting games it's simple one on one like a boxing match in reality. 2 people face off and use their on screen character to beat the crap out of each other until there is a winner.

    I've been playing video games for as long as I can remember. I'm now 40 years old and I'm still playing video games. I've always been fascinated by them and I've always enjoyed speed running of games, even though I'll never be good enough to speed run anything. I'm just glad to see video games still going strong and it puts a smile on my face. I hope you continue to enjoy games and keep being awesome.
