The constant crash and reboots could probably be fixed by flashing it with Odin. If it had an issue with flash or RAM, it would probably not even boot up or would crash midway through booting. The google apps crashing suggests a software issue rather than a hardware issue. The one not charging probably has an issue with the connections on the board, might be as simple as corrosion or something more complicated.

@@breakcoregirlxd Rainy said it, Unless you can refurbish your own screens there still is very little profit on samsung devices unfortunately because the OLED cost just as much as replacing the device. apple still utilizes LCDS for a majority of their devices so there is one factor in how and why repairing an iphone is cheaper and more profitable. I also buy in lots fix and resell, i typically stay away from samsungs just for that reason and only buy 6s plus 8 plus and XS( theres a reason i left out IPhone 7, 7 plus and iphone X out of the picture and you are also a Phone tech like me youll know 7 and 7 plus are plagued with audio problems and Iphone X splitting logic boards due to weak solder in that specific model. Too much work to repair and resolder rather than just fix the ones that dont have board issues. I still make good side profit however I try to keep any bad phones from making their way back into this resale problem we have today. We fall into that problem where people have had a bad experience buying used phones. I can go on and on and. but i think you techies get the idea. LMK what you think. I live in an area in California where some people will pay the Premium to get their originall device working again but its like 1/10 people a mojrity of people use apple products... I still cant get rid of my Samsung S8 plus

    • @TremendousPat
      @TremendousPat Před 3 lety +2

@@breakcoregirlxd i worked for a local shop who refubished samsung OLEDs i learned the process on s7 s7 edges but eventually they had to close because not many people needed that repair locally. we also did apple repair but our company was well known for only samsung glass repair. Of course the owner had the process down and showed me. 1. Its not as easy as it looks. 2. He had all the equipment and tools. So it was somewhat easier as the machines did most of the work but you still had to be delicate in the process and many times that screen will get damaged if not done correctly and can lose touch in certain area, gain black spots, etc. And thats $200 down the drain because. OLED..... Now we are -200 and only profit 100 from the customer.. Little to no money made. Owner relied on apple screen repair sales and used phone sales.

Try to swap wireles charging coils. I think there is a temperature sensor on the black plastic cover. It prevents battery from charging if phone gets wrong values from this sensor. It could be broken. There is small chance to fix it because the phone charges wirelessly but still... And flash the second one. Maybe someone tried to root it or flash it with wrong build.

There is a battery temp temperature sensing niblet on the wireless charging coil that keeps it from blowing up

You should try taking the phone with the crashing issues to a uBreakiFix because we can do a complete reflash (like Odin used to) except professionally and free because Samsung!

In the state of no-charging problem, I believe it's either the port's fault, or a faulty charging ic

You should plug in the wireless charger first for it to charge as it has a temperature sensor for overheating

Hey i got something to test for you :)
I have two Galaxy S7 edge Exynos models that were showing no signs of life.
One was my own that went black after a dropp.
I tried with Disconnecting the batery from the motherboard or thought it was a loose connection but nothing changed after a full disassembly.
Then i left it disconnected from the Battery for 2 weeks in the Frame.
After this time i was so confused that it bootet right up with no issues as i reconnected the Battery.
In fact im writing this text from this Phone.
It still has no issues after 6 Month of using.
Don't know why i had 2 boards of this failures but you can test that with the dead one too.
    Maybe it helps. :)

For the S8 with crashing issues, i'd suggest reflashing the original firmware, it helped my Note 9.

Not yet run out of time. I was editing this video until 1am today. So I just haven't done any board diagnostics. Will look into it in the future.

You can find software at www.sammobile.com/ and there is where i fix my Galaxy S6 with Vietnam software flashed to Malaysia software. Although it has to be compatible with the board which mine is G920F
