Thanks good info. Most Expedition "removal" videos fail to show the removal of the plastic trim piece ....yours helped big time!
Thank you for the positive feedback! Keep an eye on this channel for more Expedition/F-150 videos like this and today's video that I uploaded on swapping out the headlights for Ford Lightning headlights with LED bulbs.
Watched this video on realized my new install had no sound. I made the same error with the amp wire. Thanks so much for your help!!!
I am glad that it helped, thanks for watching!
Good video and information in it. Thanks man
Kevin Baker you're welcome. I am glad that you found it helpful.

Do you have a parts list (not including radio) for each specific part used?
The parts all came in this kit from Crutchfield. I highly recommend purchasing from Crutchfield (Not a paid endorsement). www.crutchfield.com/p_142C4FDK6/Scosche-CFDK6-Wiring-Interface.html?tp=3486

If my radio dims with my dash lights, which orange wire(s) do i use?
Orange white
CAN THE BLUE LIGHT IN THE STOCK RADIO BE CHANGED TO A BRIGHTER LED ?
Bob Haddock that might be possible, but I don't think that you can do the for led display itself, at least not easily.
forgot to tell you that I have all lights wired to ignition switch. ignition on-all lights on. cut dimmer wire on radio....nice and bright now....thanks
When you put the f150 in gear the radio will cut off , what will solve this problem, any suggestions
Buy a parking brake bypass for your radio some are specific to brands
Still this is a dangerous thing to do easy to get distracted
Where can I get the cover for the expedition
Here is what I purchased from Amazon.

What do I do if the wires (wiring harness) keep melting together, corroding and catching fire???
Did the vehicle do that before or after modifying it? If before, it's probably something that shorted the radio and now it's all failing or a damaged ground wire. If this started after you modified it, you didn't crimp or tape the wires good enough and they touched (or arc'd) power between each other.
@@ObbyShaggz it did that after I paid a "professional" to do it. The guy taped the wires. I re- did it myself after watching a guy from 1Aauto and my job looks professionally done. I used heat shrink stuff to seal the connections and wrapped alot of electrical tape around it
Yup, that’ll do it. Tape is okay if it’s done right but it’s easy to mess up and being that the shrink or crimp connectors are literally just a few bucks, idk why anyone tapes. Even if two wires have the tiniest of exposed spot, it doesn’t even have to actually touch, current can arc over an inch.

YOU MAY WANNA DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE TERMINAL ON THE BATTERY PRIOR ‼️‼️‼️
CLEANSHITCRASHIN .5 OHM that is always a good idea. I didn't because I was just unplugging the factory connector and plugging in the new adapter, but it still would have been a good precaution to disconnect the battery ground. Btw, another helpful hint is to always disconnect the ground first then the positive when replacing the battery. If you do the positive first and hit your class ring between the fender of a 1968 Fastback Mustang and the wrench on the positive cable it can hurt.
Not that I did that when I was teenager...
overrated
okey
Do you know why I'm only getting sound from 2 front speakers? No sound from rear speakers
It probably isn't getting the trigger from the blue/white wires. I had the same issue in my first install.

@@TwoKeysStudio I put the original radio in it and same thing
U sell ur stock one?
I'm keeping it for now, but I might want to sell it. This one has a 6 disk cd changer in the console that quit working to what I am guessing as a bad belt.
I love how no one explains what colors mean what they just skip everything.
I mentioned the ones that I had issues with. The kit has a diagram that tells you what they are, and the wires are tagged.
Typed harness cut and this came ?!?!? No help at all man
That is odd that this came up, there is nothing like that in the meta data. Do you need a pinout of the radio harness?
poor video, keep skipping parts and not showing step by step.... stop making videos bro lol
Thanks for the productive comment, love your videos!
