    Hehehehehehehe...that last comment on the half volley DTL backhand in the 2017 Miami final against Nadal never fails to crack me up. I mean, Roger's playing his "great rival" and at the time Nadal had 14 Slams to Roger's 18 and and the commentator says, "This is just stunning. You felt as though Nadal was just getting to grips with the rally...and he throws down one of those! Thanks for coming!" LOL! Listen, Slam titles don't matter to me at this point. Roger's the GOAT. Not only does he play sublime, ridiculous tennis, but there have been maches when he has outright shellacked Nadal and Djokovic. I can only come up with 1 time Nadal did that to Roger - on clay at RG in 2008 - and zero times Djokovic has done it. And Roger did it all with the "liability" of his "inferior" one-handed backhand. "Take a bow, Mr. Federer."

      @JamesHarris-hl2bm Před dnem

      I've said this many times and I know a lot of the newer generation do not get it, because they didn't see it. However, before they made everything more or less common (same speed of court), and removing all of the fast courts, and doctoring the grass. Everything was done to kill serve and volley tennis. The only courts that didn't change were the slow clay courts. I would bet my life that had the courts not changed, not only would Roger have had many more Grand Slams, I seriously doubt if Rafa would have ever won Wimbledon on the regular, natural fast grass. Same with Novak. Even with the change, Roger did well, but then there's the age thing, with him being the oldest of the "big four" so naturally, he was going to decline as they were still peaking and again, the courts were changed to favor baseline tennis. That, plus racket technology, killed the net game. when you think of how early Roger took the ball, and you combine that with speed of court, in his prime, he would have been extremely difficult to beat, even by the rest of the big four at the time, because of physics. The swings of the others are just too big for the speed of the old courts. In closing, had they not touched the grass at Wimbledon, Roger would have won more there than Rafa did at the French, which of course, they didn't change, which is the reason that Rafa will hold that record for some time.

    Federer seemed like a very "impatient" guy. It's like he was saying, "Enough with this silly long rally."

    원핸드 백핸드선수는 몇명 있긴하지만 뭔가 우아한 느낌이 나는 선수는 페더러밖에 없는듯. 왜 그럴까요?

    Federer is the greatest tennis player of all time.
    How? Federer did not win the most grand slams...Because the greatest husband in the world married only once. It's not how many but how amazing even just once.

    You know when something is so good it becomes stupid? I think stupid backhands would be a better title for this video.

    The point at 0:28 is just a reminder of how good Andy was at that age . Honestly his forehand had gotten worse and worse as his career went on ,I never get it. He used to be the hardest hitter on tour but then his forehand down graded to WTA level’s speed,and I am talking about pre apocalypse Murray.After 2013 I feel like he was never the same,even tho he only became No.1 in 2016.
    I always think that if Murray had tried to punch more instead of being a passive counter-puncher he will accomplish much more.His attacking game at somewhere around 2007~2008 was probably his best ,although his absolute prime is definitely around 2010~2013 ,just that his tactics wasn’t as good or as blunt against the big three
