- In this video: Stellar Blade on PlayStation Portal. This console does not have its own games and is a portable device for streaming games from the PlayStation 5. The maximum frame rate on PS Portal is 60 FPS and the screen resolution is 1080p. My network configuration: PlayStation Portal is connected via Wi-Fi 5GHz, speed is approximately 100Mb/s, PlayStation 5 is connected via LAN cable, speed is 100Mb/s.

*Hi! Want to support the channel? Just watch this video until the end, thank you!*
i wish it was on pc
Something about watching screen shakes on a screen within another screen seriously gave me some motion sickness for sec 😅
Nice, thanks 😉
PS: you're on a hardwired PS5 and the portal is on the 5GHz channel, correct ? Still, i can see the usual micro stutter which plagues the portal due to the refresh mismatch (59.94Hz).
It's been 4+ months and still no fix from Sony !
These microfreezes will be present in any remote game, I play through chiaki on the Nintendo Switch, I tried playing on Android and iPad and they are present everywhere, so it’s unlikely that Sony will fix it :)

No, there are no micro stutters on devices that have higher than 60Hz refresh screens - newer iphones/Android tablets and phones don't have this problem even with the proprietary Remote play app since, again, they have higher refresh screens - I can confirm it myself since RP works flawlessly on both my phone and tablet compared to the portal which always has this micro stutter (it's more like 60-30-60fps frame drops that happen every 10 seconds), it's a well documented issue 😉
If you use psplay or Chiaki, you can tinker with the frame-pacing options that they offer as to also eliminate said stutter.
Thanks for the video friend
Have you noticed a change since the portal update
I didn't notice any changes at all :)
This is demo?
Yes
