- In this video I model a "Manument Leva Espresso Machine". While this looks like a microscope or something high tech, I assure you it's for espresso. The total process was 3 hours compressed to 1. Fun times.

Learned a lot from this. How do you make the bevel do the loopcut around the edge and not actually smooth the edge ? Just set the shape to certain value or it is in the HO settings ?

It's amazing that it takes this many steps to connect a circular surface to a flat surface. Sure I understand the need for quads can there and is there a more efficient approach minus a nifty plug-in?

Thank you for everything you are doing! I have a boxcutter question: When I try to append meshes that use boxcutter to another file, those appended meshes come as regular meshes and they are located at the world center. Is that usual? Is there a way for me to use those meshes on another project?

Part where making glass visible in vieport usually results (for me) pink artifacts kicking in all around screen. Plot twist - there is all ok with my gpu (its happens just there no matter of driver or blender version) best is when i try at default cube its all ok, usually it gonna happens later for some reason.
if you use an AMD gpu then it will happen.
@@masterxeon1001 yes i do and they never gonna fix it :( i never gonna get coned that way again. When prices gonna get normal i taking rtx
when I send renders to the nuc due to having an AMD vega it happens. I just ignore it and render the animation. I bet turning off viewport transparency or setting the view to single material view might help but its a rather icky issue.
Economic forecasts are bleak on a return to average purchasing capabilities. At this rate Intel's GPUs will be more "available". StockX if you really want one I suppose. Even though thats a drag.
