I saw this jug and on the tier list it was a 3. But in the modelling aspect it came up as a bit more of a struggle. Fun times. Shoutout to all who have participated in this jug based topological event. There be like no ref for these jugs which adds to their fun factor but I hope to continue to work up the list.

Such every day items we walk past whilst in the fuel station or alike that somewhere some designer has made a 3D design for tooling purposes for manufacturing the vessel, you've either got it or you haven't , nice job, looks great, thanks for sharing.

You got me into good topology more than anyone else, i've also started trying things yesterday, failed miserably xD, but at least the topology was good ahahah
Edit: It's funny how there's people who say addons are the devil for Blender... i mean, you can do whatever with blender, don't need box cutter and stuff to do bools, but if you want to get things quick... they say that with addons you can't get good topology, i think they missed your videos.

you can do it with blender. That is for sure. But at what cost? Our subtle efficiencies fail to be noticed but if you save up enough minutes you begin saving hours. And with enough efficiency you get time to explore design and alternative approaches. The think with workflow efficiency is when done right it looks like nothing at all. Our approach also remains to feel as blenderlike as possible.

Things that always terrify me in 3d modelling - to break the original form of an object: that a circle must always keep a circle, a square - a square, a line - a line, etc.
I think about it so much that sometimes I just get stuck in the workflow

What advice would you give to viewers who suffer from perfectionism? Or how to *S,Z,0* everything? xD

just gotta do the job at hand. Perfectionism is only valid until it affects outcome. Then that era is complete and the next one is getting to the finishline.
