Personally? I’m a HUGE fan of X-Men TAS but I’m not a fan of the cel shading. I like all of my figures to fit in a cohesive display. I honestly only bought this figure for the lower arms with the yellow gloves (I removed the cel shading with a tiny bit of acetone) and the opaque glasses. That stuff kitbashed with the Caliban wave Jubilee is my ideal Jubilee figure
Cel shading isn't exactly Hasbro's strong-suit especially if you compare it to NECA's TMNT line. Still, I don't hate these releases, Jubilee here is just a little pricey for what you get. Thankfully the cel shading is pretty easy to remove on this one
Shartimus, my bubble gum broke off too. It's not a difficult fix with super glue. You just have to make sure you know how to line it up with the way it broke, like a puzzle piece.
yes we do because the original marvel legends because the original one cost 60$ or 50 or 40 or 30 not paying for that for the legends i love these second chance i get jean grey and this jubille . i am missing these x-men or rare x-men characters now .
Loving the format changes. Still miss the opening theme song, but I love the backdrops in the latest reviews. Love to see more reviews with the street backdrop. Keep up the great work man, another great review. 👍

Yes absolutely I need it! I'd take a roller blading Jubilee, Generation X Jubes..... She is the poster child for Xmen 90's teenage spirit. Reminds me of the whole TAS team. They couldn't rep the TAS or Jim Lee team properly with out Jubes at the front. We all know this year is about spider-man but imagine in 2 years, hasbro does a sub line similar to what they’re doing this year with the x-men animated series but for the Spider-Man animated series because in 2024 that marks 30 years since that spider-man animated series debuted.
@@CyborgSodaCollects yes a cell shaded spider-man. We did get a cell shaded venom last year as well as the animated hobgoblin figure this year except that figure doesn’t have cell shading and the glider looks inaccurate.
That piss yellow color they used for the cell shading makes it looks like Juggernaut gave her a golden shower. Good thing she wore her yellow rain jacket!
Great review Shart. It is the cell shading that Hasbro is having a challenge with. A pity that the X-Men Animated Series is to be the guinea pig for it, as I believe it may prevent some peeps from getting a character they missed or hasn't been released yet. Hasbro has been a little suspect on their accessories - sad because this is an animated series and the cartoon series provides gallons of idea.
I can't wait to diamond select reveal more toys and Comic-Con I hope I want to see that apocalypse most like apocalypse action figure apocalypse cannot wait

Definitely we need this but only because the high price in the aftermarket (Beast, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Professor X, Psylocke). It is a little frustrating that all the realeases are just repaints (except for the new heads) but I hope we gonna get a new Cyclops in the Morph mold.
It appears the two jubilee heads (old and new) are slightly different, they both have the same hair but the heads are different Update - maybe it’s the paint on the lips,eyes and eyebrows that makes me think that. Maybe they are the same
As a new collector I need them all as it’s not like I can get the Jim Lee inspired figures any other way unless I pay a lot more than what hasbro are asking for these. Bums me out that I missed out on the sentinel haslab, (Galactus too). I’ve only been collecting legends for a few months and it’s become an obsession!
I’m waiting for mine to come in and I’m watching you guises video to see if I would like it or if I should return it But I’m most likely gonna keep it because I love the anime TV show
Good review, Shart. You know, I love the sculpt but the animated paint apps are a pain. You have to display them in just the right light or else they look weird.
My ankle broke on my jubilee and this one seem to have small enough shading to the point where it doesn't bother me. I also have a couple VHS video ( no vcr) I figure I will pose the box next to them!!!😉🤷♂️
Hasbro needs new effects accessories BAD. Speedball not coming with speed balls is a travesty because we probably will never get another one til he makes his inevitable mcu debut
For me the cel shaded paint made these a pass for me. I don't care for the fact figures are basically only partially. They don't have paint on the back.
At the price Hasbro is charging, these figures are pointless if you already have them. Cell shading looks cool but not to buy the figure again. Hasbro didn't even bother to give them pinless joints 😒
Giving hasbro a pass because "their new at cell shading" doesn't make sense. Hasbro is a large toy company. They can pay someone to do it right. If neca can do it, and for the most part do it well, and they are a smaller company; hasbro has no excuses. Besides the glove hand, all of the accessories are reuse. All of these are not worth the price point that they are currently selling at.
I like cell shading but make it make sence. Theyre just random darker shading that doesn't make sence. They paint these things like we are 5 years old. I'm a 37 year old child damn it and I could paint these better

These are NOT based on TAS...box shows the animated character...but as soon as you open it up it's just a traditional x figure..with REALLY BAD cel Shadding. Paying stupid prices for new head scultps and little accessories we already have and bad paint apps...but Shartimus APROVES. And you wonder why people are leaving and not watch vids. You have sadly become a Hasbro Yes Man.
From the changes so far I liked the use of rotating base and a diorama background. And I do agree, rotating base is cool but some things need to be shown in hands - you'll have to figure it out the balance. As for previous videos I think the unboxing ones and the future release ones are a bit lazy. No offense but I don't care what you got on your mail if you're not opening the figures and I don't need to be told what are Hasbro's future releases as I already seen all that on Facebook. On the good side I like how naturally enthused you sound and I love anything that is stop-motion related. Plus I really liked how you weren't afraid to question Todd McFarlane about the side eyes - a question many of us would like answered and you got us the answer. All that being said I've seen other CZcamsrs mentioning their numbers are down. It's probably due to new algorithms and whatnot so don't take it too personally. Also I see most videos on my smartTV meaning I can't 'hit like' or comment or whatever and only come to my smartphone to do all that if I think it is really relevant. Anyway keep up the good work. I am enjoying some of the changes so far and I'm sure you'll be ok.
A lot of action figure companies like NECA, Super7, even McFarlane, appear to put a lot of love in to their figures. Hasbro always feels like they care about doing the absolute bare minimum, cheapest effort possible and then hoping you pay full price for it.
I have to disagree. Super7 can't even be bothered to give their figures 2022 standards of articulation. They're still using single jointed elbows and knees on everything. NECA couldn't even given their Gargoyles line posseable wings or at least wings that didn't suck. You have to buy a separate figure to get cloaked wings for Goliath. McFarlane is a complete joke. His figure suck, especially the DC line that has too many Batmans, improper weapons, and no obscure characters. Until he makes Killer Moth or someone on equal footing, his line will never compete with Mattel's. Not to mention he has yet to do any truly good female figures and even went on to say boys who buy female characters become serial killers.
The cell shading looks utterly dreadful on this figure. Like why are just the arms for the coat shaded? The shading is the whole reason I canceled all of my preorders. The only one I may end up ordering is Cyclops if he doesn't have those terrible legs with the bands that constantly drop down.
They look like they are designed to primarily be carded figures and then they are put in a cardboard box. I can’t believe Hasbro is this tone deaf. Actually, I can. Do they not read the thousands of comments saying their take on cel shading is a dumpster fire? Nobody asked for it, very few people actually like it in its current form, and the execution is so poor that it ruins the figures. Half the top videos on these figures are “How to remove cel shading”. Such hubris. They are killing the goodwill of their customer base by forging on with this tone deaf crap. It ruins the figures and posing them just looks awful.
I dont like the cell shading in general. This particular one is not needed. Two brown lines on the arms??? The sunglasses are the ONLY thing cool about this figure.
They really need to quit with the cell. Shading figures don't need that. I don't care what shelf you have. Them on figures already can have shading because of the light that's around them. It's just a waste of paint and a waste of color that you really don't. I'm just saying also shouldn't you believes jackie be a lot more lower still awesome figure but again enough with the cell shading.
I think what's killing the channel most is you getting things too late nowadays..so most people are not here for reviews because they have already seen it somewhere else...they are here because they wanted to see a review by you ...and nowadays it feels like bbts is likely to get the figures at the last ..so maybe change to somewhere who ships them 1st ....because by the time you release a video nowadays it's already been out there for a long time ..and I think that's what killing the game most

My bubblegum broke off of the head sculpt too but I just gorilla glued it back on and you can’t even tell. Now it’s even more sturdy than before.

The new heads actually sits a bit lower compared to the older version
The only one of these figures I wanted was Morph, on the fense with Storm and Jean Grey. I'm sure we'll see a Professor X for this series

The cel-shading is weak, it is either barely noticeable or goes overboard and looks like very dirty. Easy Pass
