    I had a dream last night that I was running a marathon lmao.
    currently running about 5 miles once a week as I can’t fit more into my schedule. I’m slow and lowkey hate it but I’m proud of myself for fighting through the depression and demotivation.
    so inspired by this lovely community 😌 it’s so nice to read about people’s journeys. we ascend together!!!!!

    Just ran my first half marathon! I used to be super into running but I stopped a couple years ago. I picked it back up after watching your videos. Literally two months ago i couldn't run for longer than 20 minutes without stopping and now I can run for 2 hours straight! thank you cody!!!

      just got to 20min continuous. never been a distance runner, was doing short distance when i ran track and hadn’t ran in years. trying to build on it now 🎉

    Just wanted to thank you for creating this channel and sharing your running journey with us - I started training in August for a half-marathon with no prior distance running experience and I successfully completed my first half-marathon this past Saturday!!!!! This is something I’ve always wanted to do but never thought I could. Thank you for helping to make me a part of the running community - I can’t believe I made it here. Next stop is a marathon!!!     Just did my first half marathon a few weeks ago now. Mid-race I told myself that i will never do this again. I just ran out of gas. Super humid, poor pre race fuel, etc. And now here we are 2 and a half weeks later with me starting a new training block and signing up for another race in Tampa so I can best my previous time. Thanks for all the encouragement that you impart on us Mr. Ko. - Spencer

    Your 33 mile ultra for your birthday inspired me to do a 27 mile ultra when I turn 27 in 4 months!! I'm super excited, just bought new running shoes and I'm not expecting to run all of it, I want to just be able to run some of it and then walk the rest, sounds like a great way to spend a birthday! Thank you for the inspiration, love your videos!

    Ran my first 5k in October and have my second one this weekend. I’ve been in a huge pit of demotivation too but I’m hoping to kick it into gear bc I have a 10K coming up soon too. It’s so helpful to see someone else working through being demotivated!

    Dude, I’ve been following you for a lot of years and these days I get more excited to see your trains videos than the others, I think I’m vicariously living through your running because I broke my foot about 7 weeks ago and haven’t been able to run since. It’s been super tough to be honest. I was in the middle of training for my first ever marathon all because you inspired me - having never really run before this year / watching your videos, I’m really dying to get back to it and trying to stay positive that I might still get to run this Mara. (It’s in March so we’ll see) So I just wanted to thank you for opening me up to the world of running. I caught the bug and it changed my life. Big love from Ireland ❤

    i started taking running seriously this fall after messing around with it since january and on saturday i went for my longest run ever! i went to my college's running club and someone there wanted to do a long run and i really wasn't sure i would be able to do it at all, but i felt like i was flying the entire time and finished feeling like i could just keep going. 6.5 miles, not long for some people of course but almost twice as long as i've ever done before. i love that i get to do this and this channel definitely helps keep my motivation up. thanks cody!

    I always appreciate you showing the highs and lows of fitness. I ran my first 5k this weekend and didn't feel ready. It was cold and rainy and I hadn't really trained. But knowing that you get out there and do your best even when you don't feel like it or are nervous made me feel like I could finish the race, and I did! Thanks for your hard work and inspo ❤

    Just finished my fourth 5k since I started seriously running at the beginning of last year! Running has helped me through a severe chronic pain injury that I’ve been dealing with for the past two years, and this channel never fails to lift my spirits and help me stay motivated.     Hey Cody, just wanted to say that these videos are always a great motivator for me. I was never really that into running, but for Movember this year I set myself a goal of running 100km in a month and I even did my longest run yet of 16km! Thanks for these videos the vibes are always great… and CHOO CHOO

    okay this really helped me because I just ran my first 10 K a couple weeks ago, felt awesome, but then have been struggling to get back into running. it truly is just allowing yourself to be less on but not letting yourself go fully off. gonna get out for a run today, thanks cody. choo choo !

    As I was preparing for my first 10k in August (already subscribed and paid for it) I injured myself with shin splints... Finally sought help, but I won't be running until Jan/Feb while doing physio. Thanks for your videos, they are keeping me entertained in the meantime. Can't wait to get back on track, choo choo 💪

    Recently i ran my first cross country 5k, ive been watching your cody trains videos since the start hoping to finally get inspired to go out to run, i do workout in the gym and treadmill but usually get bored after a couple of minutes, i had the opportunity to run this 5k, so i just said F it whats the worst that could happen, now im already looking forward to the next one, thank you for your videos they really inspire me to do more!

    I started running 5 years ago. Initial motivation - vaguely to get fit, lose a few pounds. What I didn't expect where the mental benefits. After being consistent with running for a few months I realized I became more focused, less anxious, slept better. Those where the reasons I continued and progressed. Along with the sense of achievement from completing several half marathons and one marathon. Training for my first ultra now. Running has enhanced my life.. Love this channel! Motivation, humor, realism and top notch entertainment.

    On the 3rd, I ran my first half marathon. It was the Rock ‘n’ Roll San Antonio race, which had over 18,000 participants. Thank you for being an inspiration, motivation is fleeting & your discipline is admirable. Your videos helped me through my training when I felt like giving up. Choo choo

    this is sort of a secret in the community afaik, but doing glute bridges with a barbell actually helps soo much with running. idk if youre up for it since it does take a lot of work and effort, but it is worth it. it helps you store energy in the hamstring area especially, so if thats what youre struggling with, doing it will save you a lot of pain and time

    Definitely feeling the same but on a smaller scale. Every time I run 15km+ I lose all motivation. I have to force myself to go out to run. Winter isn’t helping either.
