I have a dam that's really milky ( clay bottom ) I've heard that letting some good hay break down on the waters edge will make the sediment settle. Would you agree?
Hi mate, I had the same problem and sorted it with some Aluminum Sulphate, which is a flocking agent used in water treatment plants. You can buy from most rural supplies shops.Itflocks the dam and makes all the floating particles sink to the bottem,leaving water crystal clear.Same as flocking a swimming pool. Safe for livestock and people.:)
