would love to see this for the 11-16
Does this work on a S&B larger fuel tank
Wow what an amazing fix, too a problem that plagues 6.7 owners who do their own maintenance. Can’t wait to get it installed.
I’m so getting this!
Just ordered mine with the disaster kit for my 22, this beautiful setup just makes life way easier
I’m very interested in hearing your thoughts on this equipment.
Love this setup and want to get it but... I don't think the factory plastic clip in the side of the tank is strong enough to hold this much weight.
GAME CHANGER!! 😎
Very nice setup. The only thing I'm concerned with is if there ever is a problem with the CP4, Ford would probably deny warranty service. But, this sure makes things easier.
Are yall going to sell the cat filters as a kit replacement as well and whats the mileage rating on them for when they need to be replaced
Will this still work fit on bigger tank as S&B 60 gallon ?
I am really excited about this! non of the solutions available before this really seemed to fix all the issues. You guys keep pumping out great products and I'm loving the in depth videos talking about it.
Any concerns regarding too much restrictions regarding fuel flow if paired with the s&s 2.1 disaster kit? It won’t starve the engine?
Is there additional installation details when running the 62 gallon tank? I am having fitment issues installing it on my ‘18.
Will the secondary filter delete work with/around the S&S disaster prevention kit?
Could this be better or the same as a fass fuel system?
When will you all be making a set up like this for the 11-16’s??
Will this system work if I already have a 55 gal titan fuel tank installed on my 22’ Powerstroke?
SPE Dan the mad scientist back at it with the amazing products! Wish this was out sooner but I’m currently running a fass fuel system
Thanks, James. If you haven't ditched the upper fuel filter this is a good option: spediesel.com/collections/powerstroke-fuel-systems/products/spe-lower-fuel-filter-assembly
@@SPEMotorsport thank you I will check it out!
Do they make this for 2014. I'm interested. Not sure why they don't do this from the factory. Nice
1/23/2023….
Wondering does this work with “ SB LONG RANGE 60 gallon tank “
How will this work on a 2019 F350 c&c with the rear mount tank behind the axle
Been waiting for this setup since Dan mentioned it in livestream. Glad I held out! The days of diesel baths on the oem filter are over!
Thank you.
The filter looks like it will sit or hang pretty low and give less clearance. I would be worried this filter will get wacked off road.
2017 PSD here. I’m very interested in this, it looks solid! I’d like to see in person, this set up to check on the clearance. I suppose a skilled welder could fabricate a shield.
My truck is making a priming sound first startup of day or if it’s been sitting awhile. Is this normal?
Absolutely an excellent solution. Seems you thought of everything. #powerstroke #cp4
Can I still run my fass fuel system with this?
Well depend, a tk 486 can go longer between filter changes.
Can this work the S&B 68 gallon long bed tank ?
Can you use a lift pump with that
Hope you guys come out with a kit that will fit our super cab short bed configurations! The current kits do NOT fit with a super cab short bed configuration.
I'll pass this on to Dan for you.
Getting the fuel lines off the stock components is a nightmare. Any install videos???
Does this work for 2021 super cab short bed? Because it's not fitting. The 2 top fittings are hitting a crossmember, and won't allow me to slide your part into the factory mount. Even if I was able to squeeze it in, there wouldn't be enough room to attach the 2 fittings and hoses you privided. Please help!!
I ran into this same problem, unfortunately it doesn’t work with our cab configuration.
I’m in a 2016 at the moment with a H&S upper swap. I was going to swap my lower unit to a FASS like a previous commenter has, would there be some weird way to make this work on the steel bodies with a little ingenuity.
We actually have a manifold you can use to ditch the upper filter. Here's a link if you want to check it out: spediesel.com/collections/powerstroke-fuel-systems/products/spe-lower-fuel-filter-assembly
2017 long bed 350 with the 48 gallon tank. Will these filters hang down below the tank?
No it won't. Here's a link to a photo of it: cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1338/9609/products/4B7699FF-B306-429A-B986-35D86FD0A620_2000x.jpg?v=1669307966
Love the SPE products. Will this work with the S&B aftermarket 60 gallon tank? Also would you suggest an aftermarket sending unit or is the stock one sufficient.
We are working on verifying that particular fitment. The factory sending unit is more than adequate.
@@SPEMotorsport that system looks pretty heavy. Is the single bolt enough to hold it in place when going off-road ?
Did you find out about this with the sbtank
@@Cell970 yes it does,
@@dansnyder8186how do you make this work with the 60 gallon S&B tank? Where the 3 lines connect ends up being lower than the top of the tank, the filter base needs to be up a little higher for the lines to connect to it.
Ordered. Done with plastic filters.
After you have installed this, please let us know what you think about it. Good luck!
@@johnmagan7266 Installed, love it, the quality is excellent. The only difficulties involve getting the under the hood fuel filter cup/holder out and the connectors and hose that come with the kit, the fit is really tight which is good. I run 37s with a 6” lift so, no clearance to ground issues when off road. Had no issues after installing, sealed up nice and tight.
Is this compatible with the disaster prevention kits? Specifically the S&S 2.1, sorry no offense 😳😬
Yes it's compatible. No offense taken.
Suppose you want to keep the up top filter? And just eliminate your T- fitting for the up top filter in you kit,and keep the rest of the filtration system and installed it as normal.
Does this removes air from the fuel like Fass systems claims it does ?
The return fuel does go through the filter head similar to the way a Fass does but we will not claim what Fass or Airdog claims because we don't particularly agree with their claims. Hope that helps.
Formed hoses would be better, 3’ of hose laying on top of the tank is asking for problems.
Now can you give us a CAT filter system for OIL!? 🙏 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Does everyone want to know the real reason why you don’t see cat filters on equipment? Number one reason is because the people who own the equipment are cheap dicks who think they are smarter then the engineers who designed the stuff and they are so proud of themselves for finding what they think is just as good at Walmart and auto zone. I work on marine high output c32 and c30 which are a few of what that filter goes on and those motors range from 700hp to 2300hp and cost up to 375k per motor. Which cat warranties for longer periods than all other manufacturers in the marine game. Cat filters are not overrated and anyone who says this is probably trying to sell another filter. Great product spe good thinking and engineering as usual.one more thing almost every filter claims the lowest micron rating that’s just the game they play and yes it doesn’t flow it’s full rating at 2 micron but it does filter down to 2 micron at partial full rated flow which is plenty considering the c32 fuel rate is 120galhr I think it will do the job
The cat filter is not 2 microns. Quit making cat filters sound better than they are. There are better filter options out there and that’s why cat filters are rarely seen out in the field even on their own equipment.
Please reference the Cat site. The absolute rating is in fact 2 microns.SPE created a winner here. SPE has designed and engineered the superior product with the option to change your absolute/nominal figures, but SPE did it the correct way out of the gate!
@@georgekerr6728 I’ve looked and read all their stuff and they don’t make anything better than 4 microns at 98%. Show me a link that says otherwise. Cat filters are overrated and overhyped. I run heavy equipment and I never see a cat filter on non-cat machines and rarely see them on cat machines.
@@georgekerr6728 also how will SPE’s setup work with the larger aftermarket tanks? Like S&B’s or Titans? I like the idea but it could be better. And their claim about the WIF sensor is a joke and shows they don’t understand how it all works.
@@himni1 constantly learning, appreciate the insight from knowledgeable sources, seems WIF sensor is mounted on manifold low point, i plan to drain water off routinely from bottom of water separator as preventive maintenance, honored to have mine ordered now thanks Chance!
@@himni1 I like the SPE suggested filters; abilty to chose from an abundance of available filters anytime with a twist of the wrist signals a win for both sides!!
Will this fuel filter set up work with my after market 60 gallon fuel tank?
