- Latoya Wimberly and Ashley Thomas met while they were in middle school in Philadelphia and quickly hit it off. Throughout the years they remained best friends, talking every single day. It wasn’t until earlier in 2020, however, that through a twist of fat the pair actually found out they are sisters. They share a dad, Kenneth Wimberly, who Ashley has been around her entire life, not knowing it was her father. The family is still coming to terms with the revelation. For them, they said it still doesn’t seem real. #InsideEdition

This happened on a House episode, kinda. A father was forbidding her daughter to date a boy in her neighborhood and but she did it anyway. They got married and found out in the hospital that he was both their fathers. Not a happy ending. They were disgusted and divorced shortly afterwards. 💔

Something similar happened to my mom, only she found out that she went to highschool with one of her cousins (who was also named Latoya). My mom's adopted so she didn't know any of her biological family until recently.
