I'M NATIVE...Taino AND Mohawk. One of my best friends is Hawaiian... WE were the only two natives in our high school AND in several ways we have to learn how to pass back then. ALSO I'm a NYS adult adoptee. Believe me I'm dealing with this story I'm watching this from all types of angles I'm just so happy that he was able to share this with the rest of his family and they can welcome him each of these brothers on a different AND deeper level now. I hope that they find their fathers. What I hope MORE for them in Life. Is that I hope their fathers are now who THEY want them to be when they're found.

My Mum's youngest brother was adopted out during WW2, he promised his parents he wouldn't look for his biological parents until they were gone. He was into offroad racing, very well known in the industry and participated interstate as well so he knew a lot of people in the industry. He always suspected he might be related to some of those in Melbourne even though he lived in Sydney. Well he was right they were related and he became very close to them all, to look at him, he could have been mine or my cousin's father we look so much alike. He was a welcome addition to the family, and especially to his siblings. My Mum was devasted as she was the eldest and never knew her Mum had been pregnant with him, my Mum was busy looking after her younger brothers during the war while Gran was working. Gosh, she loved him so once he came into her world. It was awesome. Bless the pair of you for finding this out now xx
I've had the pleasure of meeting a few Hawaiians thanks to my job (one of which I consider a good friend). They are the most sincere and kindhearted people you could meet. They are also gifted storytellers. I love to hear my friend's stories of his childhood in Hawaii. I wish to visit those blessed islands one day.

Our son is 40. He’s lived in Honolulu, Kailua and Maunawili for 20 years, finishing up his university studies and building a successful business over there. He lives in Maunawili, has a small farm, married a girl from East PA and have a family!
His dad and I have visited him so many times. Talk about PARADISE, the KINDNESS of the Hawaiian 🌺 people! The beauty of the landscape! WOW 🤩 Listening to the two twin brothers brings music 🎶 to my heart ♥️ and such a desire to get back to visit our little HAWAIIAN 🌺 FAMILY! CONGRATS 🎊 for finding your true family! AMEN 🙏

Amazing and heart warming story. Wonder how many people throughout the years thought they look so much alike too. How wonderful that they found each other in 6th grade without even knowing they were brothers. Sometimes the universe or whatever higher power you believe in helps things turn out as it should. I knew two guys like this in high school. Funny, one of them had the last name McFarland too. They knew they were brothers though. Their parents were neighbours and they grew up in homes that were right beside each other. Turned out there was an extra marital affair. They were also born weeks apart and were best friends. They found out they were brother’s in middle school.
Both marriages were destroyed and the non cheating parents got the homes and custody. They also looked pretty much the same, they could almost have been twins.

He had kind of had it bad at home so my parents let him live with us and now he’s part of the family he’s my brother blood doesn’t mean anything . When I was in 7th grade and found out the kid that had heavily bullied me was my 3rd cousin. His grandpa is my dads 1st cousin but he was much older then my dad, so I’ve always called him my Uncle. One day at his pet store he had asked me if I knew a boy at my school, my scared response had told him all he needed to know and then he said that that was his grandson, after that he told his grandson that he had to be nice to me otherwise he wouldn’t get his allowance, after that he never messed with me again.
Btw my family on my dads side is huge since they were farmers and my Pap is the youngest one out of 10 kids and 20 years younger then his oldest sibling, so after that I was curious who else could be related to me and I found out 3 other kids on my bus alone were related to me as well.

I am sure it has happened, probably more than once. (I think they had some kind of system in place to track the father, but not siblings, but I may be wrong.) Amazing for these two who had an incredible relationship and then to find out they're related. My parents divorced, my father and his family was not in my life. My husband and I did our Ancestry DNA and got shocking results. I was married to my cousin. I contacted my mother at two in the morning, devastated about the results. Never in a million years would you ever image an outcome like that🤯🤯. Back to these two brothers, glad they had a beautiful relationship together

My mons aunt and uncle flew here for my grandpa Petes funeral . my grandpa had moved here to California from Georgia in his late 20s and didn't go home agian. But he kept in touch. (Mail). Well at his death. My divorced grandmother saw her xhusbands family and nearly fainted. My grandfather and his brother looked so much alike. We knew the Georgia half of the family already. You know vacations and such. My "Nanny" had not gone one those trips. So she saw her former brother in law and you can guess the rest. It was Interesting.
