Very Nice...If we had that trailer we would never go back home. Bad enough that our 2020 trip was planned for 90-95 days, with the trailer we would have came home for a week just to see our family and back on the road. Love the upgrades, especially the windshield, and the fact the you don't need a special type of cloth to clean it, is amazing. And Russell day long seats are approximately 3 hours from us.
Congratulations on the “new to me” trailer. There’s a lot to be said for being in the right place at the right time and getting a good deal. Also glad that your enjoying your upgrades/accessories, in a big fan of many of the Corp/Goldstrike products. And with the wide windshield , helibars, and touring saddle coupled with your highway pegs. Well let’s just say your setup to get lost for awhile. Good stuff.

Pretty cool. I have same bike and lot of same accessories as I love Goldstrike products too. Recommend the big a$$ drink holder, phone holder and new brake pedal cover as well from them. Traxxion Dynamics also has good stuff too, didnt do their suspension yet but recommend some lesser costly items like their tie rod upgrade, kickstand pad, seat bolts, dipstick extender,mirror stop,tie rod bushing, emergency key assist and brake line bolts. All solid items.
I do have the big a$$ drink holder but forgot to mention it in the video. They are a great company. I have considered the Traxxion suspension upgrade but to tell you the truth I haven't had any issues with the current suspension so I am holding off on that for now. Thanks for watching. Ride safe!
Had to take another look and comment on this gorgeous Wing. The Gold Strike a fairly new company came out strong setting a new standard in quality LED products. So much nicer than what we’ve had available for many years from the company name starting with a K! The Gold Strike product you were at loss for describing in the back of the bike are LED saddle bag filler lights. The GS highway pegs are super nice, more so than the Rivco for the new generation Wing because the attachment point is under the engine at the engine guard and unlike the Rivco which uses a huge bracket covering that beautiful flat six engine. An engine this beautiful should never be covered, sorry. Your other choices are well chosen. Finally, Bushtec Trailers are arguably the best engineered motorcycle trailers made. Suspension and overall balance designed in such a way for confidence inspiring smoothness. They’ve got years of street credibility and really look great too. If you haven’t already, some time talk about your riding gear. Nice job here Craig! I really like this. Ride safe.
Thanks Road Glide. I am really impressed with Goldstrike. They are a great company with outstanding customer service. I didn't mention it in the video but this is actually my second tour blade. The first one I had started separating in the corner. I called them and they told me that there was a design flaw in some of the first batches they manufactured and they have corrected it. They sent me out a replacement that day - no questions asked. No send the part to us and if we think that it is faulty we might send you a replacement like some companies do. I really do like the Bushtec trailer. Like you said it is well made. Now I just need someplace to go. Lol. Thank you for watching. I will definitely touch on some of my riding gear. Ride safe.

Was chatting with someone when I was out today and they sent their seat to the same place. He had nothing but great things to say about the seat; might have to look at that whenever I get a new seat...and a new motorcycle to go with it.
There seat modification is phenomenal. I have had two seats done by them and do not get pain or fatigued by riding long distances like I did with the stock seat.

Craig-Forgot to ask. Which model Bushtec trailer is that? I noticed the rear taillights of the trailer match exactly that of the new generation 18+ Gold Wing. On the Bushtec website, the model shown with matching 18+ Gold Wing taillights is called the Xplorer. Getting the Bushtec electrical wiring harness and sub-hitch assembly being installed this week of Oct, 2023. Woohoo!
Another CZcamsr had a flat they towed his bike to the shop and apparently it had damaged the spindle or nut(forgot) after it was strapped from the bars, Honda did cover it under warranty ..

Nice video. I'm looking to order a Russell Day-Long seat for my 2018 GW Tour DCT. What did you order? Leather or vinyl? It looks like a great seat! Is the backrest removable? Does the standard black match well with the color of the factory backrest?
I love the seat. I ordered the vinyl. The back rest is removable. It just slides ride out no bolts or screws or anything to loosed when you want to remove it. It takes about 5 seconds to put in and 5 seconds to take out. Yes. The standard black works fine. The reason I went with RDL is that it is almost impossible to find someone that has one that doesn't like it. Even though they are great seats, you will find people that went with Corbin or Ultimate that dislike it. thanks for watching and ride safe!

I researched some of the forums where people have owned and pulled trailers for years. Not one owner has ever indicated that they had a warranty claim rejected because they had a trailer hitch installed on their bike. If you think about it, the only thing a Honda dealership will know is that you have installed a hitch. Heck, my Honda dealership installed my hitch for me. Ride safe!
Yes too much motion...started to get nauseous watching myself...nice rig though..but it would be nice to see some more stable pictures of the bike..especially the RDL seat.
Dan. It turned out great. I needed to get a bigger shed for the bike and other stuff around the house. Now I just have to paint it since it just has primer on it. I will get that done in the next few weeks. Just waiting for it to warm up a bit. Have a great weekend!
