I braved HomeGoods & scored 3 gigantic ceramic black planters at $30. dollars each !( marked down from $225. ) perfect for fiddle head fern trees inside . ( I thought , Arvin would be so proud !)
The nice man who brought them out to the car for me said that they had been there forever because they were too big .

I'm currently making over my bedroom and found linen-like panels in avocado. The perfect final piece that I didn't know I needed for the mcm vibe I'm going for. Thanks for the inspiration. It was fun tooling around with you for a few minutes. 😊

LOVE! I carry all of my paint colors dipped onto mini popsicle sticks that I drilled a tiny hole into so they can be carried on a keychain 🫶🏼👌 it's the best! That and having sketches of every room with dims are key

I love the Pasadena Antique Mall. Been going there for over 30 years and I have 2 or 3 pieces from there still! I have an old desk, a mission entryway table, and a turquoise speckled table from the 50's. The table has metal legs. Arvin, I love your taste and palette so much and you're hilarious! Love your dogs and Andrew!

I shop at BTS Thrift store a lot and they definitely increased how things are priced when they relocated. That said, they often have a 50% off sale and are always open to bargaining if you buy any amount of quantity.

The wooden thing with painting is call a trumau which surely comes from a french chateau. It meant to be on top of the cheminee (where you American fix a TV which send us french, straight into a deep irreversible coma😂😂😂)

I really enjoyed this shopping trip, but I was expecting you to buy a few things. There is always room for more. I'd love to visit those stores, but they are a long way from Toronto (2,500 miles).

Oh my! Looks like they cleaned out a few Wisconsin thrift stores, shipped it all to Cali and then multiplied all the prices by 10 !

This store has similar prices to new Zealand😅 but those items are in better condition that here😢😂
This is a Vintage shop...It's more expensive bec they sell curated items...that means It's pre-selected as compared to regular thrift stores where half of the items are trash.

I think I ❤ Olive Atilier more than this place. It's because you can breathe in there. This place has so much stuff and it's kind of claustrophobic.
