Gemma I'm really really impressed with these, I just wanted to say that I've clicked the link to subscribe and I've also clicked on to your website I've told my husband and my daughter and my husband said to me even though he's a chef is from Bangladesh and he cooks curry all day long I told him that you can make a pizza in a mug and he said im chatting rubbish and I said no I'm not and I've sent him and my daughter the link and I think they're trying to make cakes right now it's such a wonderful idea if it's someone's birthday party I've always got stacks and stacks of tea sets tea cups and saucers I'm thinking that I might start making cakes and put them in the teacups and sell them it'd be such a nice little thing to give a teacup and saucer to someone with the cake in it for their birthday instead of buying them a huge cake cause lots of people especially older people do not want a cake on their birthday where is such a good way to share the cake and also giving a present to take home as a memory of that party that someone's been to I just wanted to add perhaps if people are making the pizza in the Mark I know my kids like things look like really crispy and I was considering if I was to do the pizza in a mug maybe after I take it out of the Mark I might put it in my air fryer which doesn't have any oil in it we make our chips and chicken in it so if I was to put the pizza in the air fryer on the plate for a few maybe a minute maybe that would crisp it up a little do you have any other suggestions about making it Chrispy because my microwave doesn't have a grill

+huriye kantar it's usually around 1 min to 2. Just cook it for one minute and if it looks like it needs more time then cook if for 15 seconds.

For anyone who’s skeptical: I tried the brownie recipe and it’s truly delicious!! I live alone so this is a perfect go-to, sometimes I even prefer it over the box mix!!
That's the one I came on for. But she never sd the amounts. I think the 1st 3 were 1T, pinch of salt maybe that little cup was 2T🤔 of oil.

the mug pizza is do deliciously light and fluffy - all the other recipes I tried made the base either really dry or not cooked at all but this one was perfect!

I made the "Mug Pizza" recipe with left over tomato sauce and tiny bits of chicken and it was great! A couple of tips:
- I used AP flour and the dough came out really tasty.
- My microwave only goes up to 800W, so I set it to 1:40. The dough was cooked through but started to get a bit dry, so 1:30 to 1:35 would have been better.
- I used a tall mug (about 350ml/10x7cm, so taller than Gemma's) and I'm glad I did because it didn't look like much raw but the dough rose like crazy, almost up to the top.
- To test if the dough is done, simply insert a skewer in the middle - if there's resistance and it comes out clean (apart from the tomate sauce), it's ready to eat.
- Don't skimp on the sauce! If you use a tall mug, it'll rise like crazy, so you are going to want more sauce! Next time I'm definitely going to try pushing some sauce into the middle of the dough.
- There's a strong flavor of olive oil. If you don't like that, use a flavorless oil (like sunflower) instead. I'm going to try using less oil altogether the next time I make it.

P.S. If you really want to go adventurous, try eating your granola with Icelandic yoghurt (Skyr). It tastes better than Greek yoghurt (in my opinion!)

Gemma Stafford i tried using the same ingredients and followed the same proportions but ended up being gooey so i added a little bit of flour (half a tea spoon) but it didnt come as great as yours when i took it out of the microwave :(
I think if you microwave the dough separately for about 30 seconds, add the toppings and then microwave again, it should turn out a bit better.
This is perfect because when you have a lot things to do you can easly and fast make some food that tastes amaizing

Guys do try the mug pizza! It turned out AMAZING. As for the microwave setting- try setting the power to medium and run it for 1.5 minutes and then set the max. power setting and run it for another 30 seconds and voila! you have yourself a pizza in a mug!

I can’t believe it has taken me so long to find these recipes Gemma you are truly amazing I tried both the Mac and cheese and brownie mug recipes and I loved both of them I ended up using 2 tbls of caster sugar and adding 1 tbls of molasses as I didn’t have brown sugar on hand and I also used white choc chips and the brownies turned out amazing with streets 308 vanilla bean ice cream it was everything a brownie should be and tasted like heaven will be making these again soon also the aroma you get while trying these mug recipes is like you’ve been cooking for hours when it fact it took only 3 mins in my microwave

The granola recipe didn't work.
The brownie recipe had to be reduced so much for it to actually work, and it left barely anything in the mug.
And people are saying the pizza had such a soggy soft sponge texture, and the only thing that worked was from the sauce up.

i tried the pizza recipe using high protein flour (thought it was all purpose) and it did not work well. tried it again (found the flour) and it tastes amazing!!

I did them all, and they came out perfect.
I wanted to make pizza in a mug, but I don't know where the ingredients are in my kitchen (just 14 and don't cook) so here's what I did. I took a piece of bread (I did brown) and ripped it into pieces into a bowl. I then added a bit of cheese (I used mozzarella) into the bread and mixed it. Then I added pizza sauce on the bread and spread it around. I then added a layer of cheese and my toppings. I microwaved it for about 1 minute 30 seconds and it was soooo good. I literally just did it right now. I hope this works for everyone else. You can also make your own variations, I just happened to try this one.

I tried the mug pizza and to my surprise, it went so well! I realized my mozzarella was unusable mid prep so I just used some spreadable cheddar and even that seemed to work fine (even though it looked a little weird because of the liquid cheese, it was still as yummy as any pizza) I’ll be using this recipe more often, thank you 💜💜💜
