Like I say in the video, out of the box the outer layers were pretty sticky and slow. The problem I had with this is that when I turn just the outer layers, they would take an inside layer with them. That's frustrating in the 3x3 stage, and sometimes while doing an edge flip alg during edge pairing. In about an hour though the lube started moving around and this problem went away. The outer layers are still a little bit more slow than the inners, but knowing Angstrom puzzles, it won't be long until they all feel the same.
I'm going to take a bit of time with this puzzle and get back to you all with a full review of this puzzle!

Dan, I average sub 1:10 on 5x5 (1:11 official average with a counting 1:19), your technique is really good. Your only problem when solving is turning speed, which is great compared to what other problems people have at that level. Your look ahead is fantastic as well.

He had 34 second split for centers, and the split for the edges was at 1:34, (so 58) seconds. I think that Dan's edges aren't quite up to the level his centers are at, (I think that Feliks had almost even Center/Edge splits, but that had really fast edges).

Add some dnm on the outside. I do that with my big puzzles. The outer layers are always sticky for me. Also really maybe some of the angs on the outside. Nice vids like always :)
