How to make 45° chemfer tool for minilathe [insert holder] SOMX 060304 -DT

Hy There,
In this video i'll just make another insert holder for minilathe, it's easy to make and it is very usefull for cut the chamfers and also for basic turning, because that iscar SOMX 060304 -DT turn out as awesome inserts for all kind of material, i use them for a few years, but so far didn't broke even one of them, plus we can turn them 4 times.

Nice work!
If you had two insert positions at both ends on a longer square bar, you could have one tool for inside chamfers, mounted on toolpost in the long direction (z) and one tool for external chamfers when mount in the "short"/across direction (x).

thanks for good tip, i didn't think about, because also for internal chemfer using this tool, but max cutting is about 0,5.1mm othervise change tool, but good idea, rotation will be very fast.

Laneno ulje (linseed oil)je najbolje za zaštitu.Kao što si rekao ugriješ do crvenog ,stavi na krpu lanenog ulja i pomažeš.Ako baš želiš crnu boju ,prvo ugriješ -umoči u staro motorno ulje onda pnovo ugriješ i sa lanenim uljem.Bit će crno garantiram!

Usput ako zasiječeš maticu(ne na pola) i staviš je sa vijkom u amerikaner sa 3 pakne(pazi da ti mjesto gdje si je zasjekao bude između 2 pakne) postat će stezna čahura.
Super stvar kad trebaš skratiti sitne vijke.

Did you ever had problems with lathe's motor and electronics or everything works fine?

After 10 years of use it work without issue, i don't even replace a single brush, but make lot looot of hours on them, only issue about electronic is that sometimes it try to start motor even if the pot is at lowest poing so for safety i need to turn off the switch.
