The Mini Madgwick is a bespoke built-to-order road Mini inspired by the Swiftune Cooper S racers. Fitted with a 110 BHP engine and twin SU-Carburettors, making for a very lively drive!
“Like a Mini Cooper S, Only better!” Octane magazine 2017
The impeccably assembled Madgwick named after the famously challenging first corner at the Goodwood Motor Circuit the “happy hunting ground” of some giant slaying moments for Nick Swift in the works Swiftune FIA Mini.
All Mini Madgwick’s are bespoke built to customers’ requirements ensuring that you really do have the most unique and exclusive Mini that suits you. We prefer to use original BMC body colours but are always open to suggestions. The choices for engine characteristics range from a smooth high torque output that is more suited to “in-town” use or an increased spec suited to the open road for the more “spirited” drive. Interior and trim are based on the original Cooper Brocade and high back seats but can be bespoke too. The Madgwick standard features are classic race door mirrors, leather bonnet straps, rose petal wheels, lowered ride height, all replicating our historic race cars. - Auta a dopravní prostředky
Not to shabby !
Swiftune established 1965. What these guys don't know about minis ain't worth knowing. Wish I still had my red and black 1963 997 Morris mini cooper. Ah those were the days. Rog .
That’s one beautiful looking Mini. The guys from Swiftune have shown us just how professional and skilled they are working on it. Mark’s going to be so excited to get behind the wheel.
Thank you! About a week before i get to drive this. 😬😎
Thanks for showing fitting the chrome trim. That product looks so much more flexible than the product I purchased.
No problem. They don't get it from Minispares or Minisport, i will find out where they get it from, but it does look like they buy it in bulk.
Hiya Mark/Keith-that little Mini is stunning-can't wait to see it on the road. Keep well!
Cheers Dave. Not long now 😎
Hi Mark and Keith. So yes, the interior is just as I thought, colour wise, and looks bloody gorgeous lol. Great stuff guys 😊
We wasn't sure if the colour scheme would work as we couldn't find somewhere that could mock it up before we made the decision, so relieved it does work. We think it looks great too. It was a toss up between dark blue or grey carpet but we took the option of Dark blue so i don't get in trouble for marking the carpets with Lucy. 😅
@@markdraper7 lol! I totally get what you mean about wanting to see it first. It's a big decision really, I had the same scenario. Like I said, it looks cool 😎 x
love the interior colour
Thanks Mark! 😎
👍😎
That does look nice guys. Interest colour to go with blue/grey seats and grey door card. That wasn't a factory interior colour was it? Its about time that floor turned up lol.
Thanks Paul. No, that colour combination was never factory option. Lol, it was 15 weeks in the end! 🤦🏼♂
@@markdraper7 was blue an option then? I can think of the red, green and black coloured seats but blue?
@@paulrobinson3528, only powder blue. I didn't like powder blue and i hate the Red and Gold Brocade which would've been the correct colour for the OEW with Black roof.
@@markdraper7 I love the Red interiors Mark if the car is Red or Black. OEW and Red in my eye don't go together. Blue to me is a strange colour. For example, i do like Blue but in certain instances. IE, i have a S 98 plate Rover 400 SE Tourer, its in Bermuda Blue, ( the only blue Rover Tourer known by the Rover 200/400 club) a kind of late 90's BMW M3 Electric Blue and i love in but my Uncle's Kitchen he has Blue worktops etc but it looks bloody terrible.
P.s. Cant wait for you to start fitting the new floor in the GT
@@paulrobinson3528, I just wanted to do something different with the Madgwick interior and something that was unusual, so that's what we did. My Track Mini 'Bolt' is bermuda blue.
I won't be fitting a new floor in the GT as its going in the Cooper S 🤣
Can you share how much it costs for one of these Minis from Swiftune?
I don't have the final bill yet, but i will share the cost of this particular one. It really does vary to what you give Swiftune to work with in the beginning and the specification you want. 😎
Very nice indeed! 👍 will you all be at brooklands Sunday 3rd ?
Yes, I think so
Thanks Peter! Unfortunately i won't be at Brooklands. That's it for mini shows for me until Spring now. 😎
