Im from Georgia here in the US, so when me and my friend went to Japan in the summer for the first time, we were not expecting the same hot humid weather we are use to here, not as humid as Georgia but pretty high. It didnt bother me one bit especially when we went further south to Hiroshima, Osaka, and Nagasaki. Whats crazy is Tokyo is not that much further north yet its cooler and less humid in Tokyo. I find that so funny because Georgia shares around the same latitudes as all of those places and the same is for here as well. We are supposed to be going back to Japan in the summer of next year but I think we are strictly staying in Tokyo this time haha.
I actually just got into combat patrol myself. I have largely stayed away from 10th edition aside from a few tutorial games just to understand the new rules for 10th. Im really waiting for the codexes and expecting signifcant changes to specific army ruels. The Necron codex comes out in winter so I figured Id buy time to play some combat patrol while I finish up my army in the process. Instead of using models I have already painted minus a Doomstalker I am adding close to 500 more points to my army from my backlog so an all around win from me
I went to school in Georgia for two years, and yes, the summers are surprisingly similar! Good luck on expanding your dynasty!

Also the thing that used to kill me with summer in Japan is how poorly their houses are setup to deal with the heat. I come from tropical north queensland in Australia and the heat is pretty similar but we use things as simple as ceiling fans and plenty of ventilation in high areas throughout the house to combat it. I remember in my youth trying to sleep in a house in tokyo and i was just sitting in a pool of my own sweat trying to use a hand fan to cool off
Yeah, it's not great. central air is absolutely NOT a thing here, and even the newer houses are shockingly poorly insulated.

Only mentioning this as an anecdote to the channel. 95 degrees, i know it's all relative, but from Dallas TX. 95 is a really nice day right now. Humidity considered. 4 people died due to heat stroke last week. Everyone feels they're current situation is the WORST thing ever, just get to the point of the video. Think about how out of touch this will feel in 6 months.
If you think 95 is a really nice day, we have very different ideas of decent weather! That said, because of the extreme humidity, the summer weather is actually a legitimate health concern in Japan, especially for the elderly (of which Japan has a large percentage). It is not uncommon to see warnings on the news, or hear unfortunate reports of multiple deaths due to the weather. And if you don't like the anecdotes about life in Japan at the start of every episode, you can always skip ahead! I always label the chapters in the timeline. :)
