Holding Shift + Restart in the Start menu is the easyest... Good video!

You forgot number 4 so i will tell.
Number 4. You can access the boot menu by clicking the power button, holding the "Shift" key and pressing restart while holding the "Shift" key, and then you can do whatever you want. (DO NOT MESS AROUND WITH THE BOOT MENU UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!)

I just discovered something interesting. Turns out, if you have the installation cd, you can open it in your C: folder and select setup. It will allow you to reformat right from the desktop. This is good because for some reason I was unable to access my boot menu.

Great vid thanks Adam . I have been a windows user for many years the win10 I still have troubles finding what I need in the new settings menu. The search helps too but I like to know where the stuff actually are found.

Most definitely! It's unfortunate that Windows hides it now.

The system users use not because of it but in spite of it. I have used every Windows system since 3.1 and for “user friendliness “ this is the worst. Only occasionally use now having gone over to Mac as sick of stupid things like safe mode, boot menu access which could have been fixed 5 years ago.

I tried doing this using the Msconfig method, turned the safe boot on, selected apply and okay and my PC told me I need to restart, so I did and now my pc won't turn back on. All of the peripherals and the fans etc are receiving power, but my monitors are no longer displaying anything. Any idea what's happened?

Since 1991 - MS Windows 10 is a most unreliable OS for the end users. With regards, MCP since 1996.
