    • The West is In Decline...
In this conversation between Zuby and Carl Benjamin, they discuss issues related to race, identity, and multiculturalism. They criticize the use of terms like "white supremacy" and "people of color," arguing that such labels are overly broad and lack nuance. They highlight the challenges of multiculturalism in Western countries, pointing to the success of diverse populations in places like Dubai, where a strong rule of law and shared values contribute to harmony.
The speakers express concerns about the lack of assimilation and respect for local culture in Western societies and suggest that enforcing certain rules and expectations can foster successful integration. They also touch on the role of guilt and self-criticism among some white individuals in discussions about diversity and cultural identity.

What sort of diversity is there in the Nigerian Royal Family? Such a silly complaint.

    • @adamdewitt6430
      @adamdewitt6430 Před 5 měsíci

Because it's not about diversity; it's about ceaselessly criticizing what is perceived as dominant. The British Royal family is, to postcolonialists, a symbol of global "white hegemony" that has been forced and violenced upon the poor, helpless "colored" world that was pure and righteous before the Colonial period - a variable Garden of Eden (although they wouldn't use this analogy because of "Christian hegemony"); and this "hegemony" needs to be exposed, challenged, and destroyed wherever it is - and it's assumed a priori to be everywhere, even within the British Royal family. The only way to "properly" decolonize the Royals is to "diversify" it - meaning getting people with the politically correct (that which is politically advantageous to and aligned with the far Left) views and "knowledge of the world" with also the "correct" skin tone to join the family. The more extreme postcolonialists would say that it needs to be abolished entirely because it's an irredeemable institution and symbol of "white supremacy" "imposing" its hegemonic power upon the "POC" (anyone of approved skin tone who "properly" acknowledges their victimhood and oppressed status, languished in it, and joins to overthrow the oppressive societal powers to usher in the promised utopia) world.

White culture isn't Narcissistic in general, black culture is the most Narcissistic (alongside Islam).
So modern whites would never force their skin colour onto others due to Self-Absorption.
Whites aren't utterly self-absorbed like a Leftist Black Narcissist.
So they wouldn't force their way into black movies, to Gaslight and abuse blacks, for example.
White culture isn't rife with 'Narcissist Personality Disorder' like the black community is...well except for 'Woke' Covert Narcissists of course.
Whites tend to have Empathy for other races, unlike Black Narcissists such as BLM...who ONLY get triggered by 'hurt' to their own colour (like all Racial Supremacists).
Isn't it strange the 'Woke' Narcissist cannot see the Narcissist traits...and the Supremacy...of the Narcissist cultures they support.
It's because they are Narcissists too.

They are saying Asian are making it too competitive for their children to get in and campuses should not only focus on test score and academics. You don’t hear Asian parents complaining about entrance being more competitive or test score because it’s beneficial to them. Asian parents these days complain about affirmative action because it’s not beneficial to them now. When affirmative benefited Asian back in the days, they didn’t complain. Brown people have brown and darker brown and lighter brown. Some of them have mixed with white people and have a couple of our colors as well. But those colors belonged to us originally. But here are two important points, firstly, many of those disadvantages are relitively minor and are totally eclipsed by other positives that your sitiuation brings,. Secondly, it in no way affects the position of the majority population whose ancestral origins are tied to the country. It is ridiculous to call thye majority 'priviliged', they are simply the base level norm. Any disavantage you have is your business to deal with!

It's like saying "African American" or "Chinese American" because the term "American" defaults to a white American. But they've been lied to generationally, and to reject an idea that their ancestors based their world views on, is to admit something painful. The difference with the Spanish world and that of the British back then, is that one group allowed marriage between groups, and counted all as humans, the other not so much. Those things affect people across generations. The race thing in the US was too extreme, by a lot. And people today still have Mothers and Grandmothers that experienced ill treatment. (One of her pet peeves, as a teacher of German, French, and Masterpieces of World Literature was that, before she could teach her college freshmen any German or French, she first had to teach them English.)
I didn't speak a word of German (although I understood it perfectly well) until I was 6 years old and we went to visit my grandparents in Germany for the first time. Once I realized that there was a whole country full of people that spoke this weird language my mother was always using, it finally dawned on me that I could speak it, too. Ever since, every time I visit Germany, I have to produce my passport to prove I'm American, because everybody who hears me speak German is completely convinced that I was born and raised in Berlin.

That's definitively non-factual and wholly incorrect. They aren't genetic anomalies, it's literally different DNA. The people of Northern European descent have about 3% Neanderthal DNA, that figure decreases the further South you travel, and by the time you get to Sub Saharan Africa, it's zero. The Asians have the DNA of some other ancestor genome.
Caucasian is not just skin colour, it's Caucasian. You can take the "artificial color names" out of the conversation but the genetics are still different, and so is the skin tone, and other things.
We have different predication for diseases and genetic conditions, like diabetes. Young Sub Saharan African men have higher testosterone than young Caucasian men, which (surprise surprise) is a fuel for violence in adolescent boys.
The reality is that "white" is just slang for Caucasian, and "black" for Sub Saharan African, and "yellow" for Asian. Three different and distinct genetic groups.

The term 'coloured' was made by western white people. Because they thought of themselves as the default once upon a time. It also seems that it made its way through into other languages, however, it is not a common way of describing people in languages other than English. Its important to look at social understanding through a global perspective and see perhaps where such ideologies come from and perhaps why.

Like what would you think? were all black and lost melanin or we were all some Axolotl transparent thing and Africans developed melanin over time to deal with the heat. That is something that needs to be done by both white and black people for themselves and each other. It's more ridiculous when you factor in all the other types of similar things that have happened throughout history and still occur today that get zero attention.

Therefor, I don't think affected people should just get over it. equally, like you said, many people have an unhealthy obsession, unfortunately. Also, english is a language that we didn't go out of our way to actually make a term that describes a person's skin tone... we refer to it as a colour. ie white or black etc. However in other languages, they have names that refer to the 'colour' of the person and when used, you know it is actually referring to a human and not an object, nor is that human to be observed as an object (lower/material) through their colour

We all know that when the term 'black' is used to describe a person, it has now come to mean something negative. Negative connotations associated with us include crime, lack of intelligence, being less capable, not being able speak well etc etc. Hence ridiculous claims of some white people now claiming they 'don't see colour' as an attempt to deny that they see any of those stereotypes in us and react to us negatively.
