Just did that on my 88 and I can’t believe the difference in brightness. It seriously made me “dang now I don’t even need a light bar” and for 20bucks, 10 mins of work that’s super easy you can’t beat that mod. I thought for sure it would have been a lot harder to do but super super easy.
I had the HID’s on my 05 an ended up putting diodes so the low beams would stay on with the high beams so I wasn’t driving in darkness till the highs warmed up

You should do the 4 high mod now that way you can have both sets of headlights on at the same time when you flip on the brights.
Definitely something I’m going to do this winter. It sucks waiting for the hid Lehigh beams to warm up driving down a dark highway
