About Maniacs Garage and its creator:
Hello, my name is John. Over the past few decades I have built some pretty crazy rides and this one may be the craziest! After spending the last 15 years working on my Real Estate business, raising a family and help plant a start up church, I was ready to embark, along with my son and a group of friends, on a new project.
However, this was not just any old project, we've done the first ever 1949 Ford Shoebox chassis swap to a 2008 BMW 335i.

I saw this today in Maricopa and looked it up. So cool. Love the sound the turbos make. For me this vehicle was best in show and one of the coolest machines I have ever seen even though I’m tree-old.
Couldn't agree more! Glad you got to see it in person, and I hope you got to meet Duke as well. He's a great guy!
