Totally. I mean, when the song was written, they had a lot of problems with Russia, and I it has been good to see Sting’s response to the devastation ie his new release of the song. He has truly been an upstanding figure given everything going on. Though I must say, the video owner having a link to when the song begins totally defeats the purpose of the song. I love this song but I don't believe this song really captures the tone that the original song did that fits its context. This is far too upbeat for something that has such terrifying potential for the fate of humanity. The original track was terrifying and felt heavy and bleak. I really did enjoy the origin story to the song that was told. Fascinating.

Different only in ideology but not biology…that’s what Sting sings in his song. We all share the same planet and breathe the same air and we all bleed red blood, and we all want our children to have a better future.
It is unfortunate that Sting insists on performing this bloated and deafening version of the beautiful song he wrote years ago. I went back to the original official video and enjoyed every bit of it. On this recetn occasion it would have been wise perhaps to sing the sing in a simple manner without the philharmonic orchestra - perhaps some modest playback.
This version is more powerful than the original and he let us know what was the real inspiration for him to write the song. Do your research and open your mind!
