Open up your mind and let me step inside
Rest your weary head and let your heart decide
It's so easy when you know the rules
    It's so easy
All you have to do is fall in love
Play the game, everybody play the game
    Of love
When you're feeling down and your resistance is low
Light another cigarette and let yourself go
This is your life, don't play hard to get
    It's a free world
All you have to do is fall in love
Play the game everybody play the game of love
My game of love has just begun
Love runs from my head down to my toes
My love is pumping trough my veins
    Driving me insane
Play the game, play the game
Play the game, play the game
Play the game everybody play the game of love
This is your life, don't play hard to get
    It's a free world
All you have to do is fall in love
Play the game everybody play the game of love

1980 Tehran, Iran. I'm 8 years old and I see Freddie Mercury and Queen for the first time in my life at my aunt's place. She had bought a brand new Sony Betamax C7 video recorder and was playing nonstop music all day. This song came up and when Brian started playing my dad yelled at me "Turn that noisy music down!!!!" I did as I was told and watched the rest of video without sound, of course. But I committed it to my memory so that one day in the future I would go back and watch/listen to it again. I had no idea who these guys were, but I really liked the beginning of the song and I only watched the video that one time......Flash forward to 1986 Wuppertal, Germany. I'm 14 years old and my dance teacher is playing "We will Rock You" to which he is choreographing my dance steps. I ask him, what song/band is this, he said "the Greatest Rock Band of all time, Queen". He then handed me their Greatest Hits Album cover……and my heart skipped a beat when I saw Freddie's picture. I instantly knew who he was. I cannot describe the euphoria and exhilaration in that moment in time, when I discovered this band. I couldn’t believe my luck. Yes, luck!!! I was lucky that I discovered this band at that moment in my life. They reshaped the rest of my teenage years/life and I have been a fan ever since. I will listen to their music till I die, and even beyond grave, because I’m sure their greatest hits are being played in both heaven and hell.

This is the first video in which Freedie Mercury was seen with his now trademark moustache. Which freaked people out a little at first.

It is said that Brian toured with the original one only for a couple years, although he had Guild guitars making a few copies for him. In only two occasions is he seen playing a different guitar : this video and the video for "The show must go on", both times in scenes where the guitar was at risk of getting damaged.
The Red Special is, indeed, more than special for Brian. Now you know ;)

I have been a Queen fan since 2017, so this is new to me... But I do most; if not more than; know half the songs, especially the song made for John Lennon (immediately or sometime after his death) song name *Life Is Real (Song For Lennon)* , which was written by Fred when they were flying over the Atlantic Ocean and that *Death On Two Legs* was an indirect insult (allegedly) to Norman Sheffield who (again, allegedly) mistreated the band.
Also, there is another thing... and its that people mailed Freddie razors, telling him to shave it of course, but Freddie (being Freddie) disagreed... glad he did...

Deacy's performance feels like the leading instrumental piece in this track, and that's what makes it my favourite queen track, the bass glissando's into the drums and guitar properly kicking in at the start, and until Brian's solo (which I love), the bass is taking charge, and as you said, even in Brian's solo, Deacon's bassline isn't lost, it's playing counterpoint amazingly alongside it.

One thing I've noticed about Freddie is besides having a gorgeous voice, he's also incredibly limber. During many of his performances he leans back with an arching movement, almost like a back bend and the flexion in his neck is equally impressive. I suspect with a little help he could've easily learned some gymnastics.
