  • Hi all,
    So decided to try the Rhinowalk 30L Tailbag for my Trident 660. Will be combining it with Kriega's Drypack fit kit for Triumph Speed Triple RS (in backorder at the moment).
    Will do a review after installing them on the bike later this month.
    Thank you for watching

    Hi there. Did you attempt to use the fitting loops that came with the Rhinowalk bag to attach to the Trident frame at all? There does appear to be some exposed frame bars under the seat so I’m wondering if the Kriega kit is necessary?

      Wasn't able to find any place to fit the loops that came with the Rhinowalk bag, so that's why I went with the Kriega solution. If you or anyone was able to do so, please share how you did that.

      It has been suprisingly durable, for the cost that is, the zippers still work fine so does the material outside the bag which hasn't shown sign of wear. So far have not driven in rain with it to check for the waterproof characteristics. One thing that I am thinking it is larger that needed for my bike and it's seat length and the 20lt would be more suitable. Hope this helps and drive safe my friend.

      @@TheMarketDude1 thanks for the fast answer. Yes, my bags are always too big too, so i carry a lot of things i actually dont really need and sometimes not even touch when on the road. I just ordered it anyways, guess its also a good option for travelling in plane. Actually i was planning a trip from Asia (Thailand) to Europe in 2019, was ready to go on my CB500X, then Corona hit an i was fuxxed, all borders closed. Still hoping Myanmar will open for crossing, so i need some space. I have hardcases on the side so i needed another reliable back and i liked it, lets see what i get in a couple of days.

    How about mounting it, does the rear sit of the 660 come off to latch the straps?

    • @TheMarketDude1
      @TheMarketDude1  Před 2 lety +1

      Exactly, have already installed the Kriega kit and choose to leave the latches extending out and by the sides under the seat. In the next days will try the bag and do a quick video review on it, regarding stability, volume of luggage etc

      @@TheMarketDude1 BTW, is it also possible to add the tail bag without buying the Kriega kit on the side?

    Do you think 20L would work better with the 'special' seat of the Trident? I'm getting the Kriega fitting kit and planning to get the 20L because of this.

    • @TheMarketDude1
      @TheMarketDude1  Před rokem +1

      It will be more ideal, since the 30lt bag length after you tighten all four straps, leaves less room for the rider to sit on. I have tried to roll the upper side of the bag, but this is limited by the straps position. So any shorter bag would be an improvement. Please take a look at one of my latest videos on the accessories of the bike and how the 30lt looks like. Hope it helps and ride safe.

      This is the video I was referring to, where I mention the length of the bag also: czcams.com/video/WmM9E-7WJGQ/video.html

      @@TheMarketDude1 Thanks a lot for your feedback and for providing the video! This helps a lot.
      In your case with the 30L one, have you tried placing it the other way around? If that's even possible I mean.

    • @TheMarketDude1
      @TheMarketDude1  Před rokem +1

      @@JaymzSim Yes and the results was the bag covered the taillights and also worried that it might slam and scratch or brake the glass/plastic of the taillights also.

    Looks like a shameless copy of the Kriega US30.

      It's hard to believe the quality it shows with the low price tag, nevertheless more money left for gas for us, so great :)
