Thank you Abhijit for this wonderful information. Few days back I was about to hit a car in a busy area as my Xcent car brake gone hard. Later I visited my nearest Hyundai service centre in Bangalore but they couldn't understand the issue.

I have same problem in altroz petrol. Fighting with SC for past 10 days in this regard. Thanks brother for clearing it. Useless service centre guys they know nothing. Taking only trials.
Same issue with my altroz.
Bro after changing to ngk iridium plugs the frequency has reduced to minimum and I have started always using full clutch while braking when the speed is below 20kmph. Almost it never occurs now.

I asked many mechanics about this problem but they didn't find out the TRUE reason and telling me different problem like break booster , leakage, air problem etc

Thanks man! Due to this prblm I am loosing my driving confidence yr, but I feel ok now.. I does the same I press clutch if my breaks are hard and it comes to normal. Still I feel something is wrong but now I feel ok!

swift model me yea problem bohot zada tha for that update karna hai ,clutch press karne pe v brake nehi lagta hai swift ki 2018 k baad model me......dont worry ecu update karke solved ho jata hai.

Same problem with my punch cng. ..Did u checked with tata service?I feel it's a malfunction..So planing to visit service center...I drove 1300 km in my icng punch
@@prakashkomitla4566 no need to visit service center. I confirmed with service center also. Its there in all cng cars. Keep the car on for 2-3 minutes in the morning then release hand break
@@rupeshpatil6957 ok thanks for ur reply.but for me I observed while chainging gear when I pressed clutch the break becomes hard at some times...Even at 80 kmph also ...I feel it's a very hazardous...What I observed soo far is for proper functioning of punch breaks engine rpm should be above 2×10000 rpm

I purchased new Punch CNG, 2 days back.
As long time drum break bike rider I have habbit biting break continuously.
I did same with Car brake in busy market.
I was in busy market driving Punch and after 3-4 time pressing break (speed around 10kmph) brake got hard so pressed clutch and then break applied.
Fat ke darwaja hogayi.
Raat ko aake so gaya. Next day soch raha hoon, Pahad par jaunga or break nahi lagega toh😂

Tata Motors Passenger Brakedown call center suggest visit service centre or in between issues aata hai to tow kar denge

This is not problem but it may create problems if someone is not using clutch on lower speed.
Make a habit in busy market area to press half clutch if break applied continuously for 2 times.
If you are petrol Swift or Ritz models 2012 - 2014 user, get your car ECM software update done. This fixed whole breaking issue while driving in bumper to bumper traffic. They charged around 600. But it's worth trying.
Hello sir, today i changed my Ritz Vxi 2014 model break boosters.. but after that i faced same issue in bumbper to bumper traffic at very low speed so m worried about that but now i relaxed.. but instruments cluster still showing hand break lighto what os issue? And i want to update ECU software of my car but maruti saying they stopped updating for ritz so where can i get that done?

Thank God! this is happed with my I20 petrol 2018 model in many time in slow moving traffic, I thought it's break fluid issue, but when my break peddle get harder i immidately appliying clutch and increase the RPM ,then suddenly breaks started applying, Now After your video incame to know why this happening , nice information sir. But Hyundai should focus on petrol engine to create own vacuum to provide proper breaking rather taking vacuum from the intake manifold

@@aim1398 cool. I drove like 400 kms and had no issue. Then I entered the city and this happened and I was like wtf. It happened again later too, then I pressed the clutch and it fixed. I am more cautious now in bumper to bumper traffic.

Thanks bro, I noticed only in i20 not in vw vento. Almost had accident on flyover in traffic. Pressing clutch when brakes are not working is counter intuitive.

I'm driving my I20 sports (o,) petrol since May 2015 and has been through bumper to bumper traffic several times. But why this problem occured from last few days only.
I am using ignis sigma petrol 2017 model for the last 5years. The same issue started yesterday.

My swift 2012 petrol brake pedal is getting hard at low speed only with ac on. Once ac is switched off the brake pedal play starts working immediately.
