Could have mentioned the new Grimsby Town stadium. I mean I know they aren't non league but give it a couple of seasons...
The point of the video is to cover non league football though it is a good shout for a video idea.
@@mattle841 I know it's the point, just saying that by the time construction starts we'd be eligible.
Let's be honest, the plans for the Torquay stadium used the same layout and Osborne lazily slapped on a Torquay badge over the grimsby badge, you can even see the edges of the grimsby badge 😂😂
That comment has actually aged really well 23rd at the minute!
@@deanbrown29 I hate that this has aged well. I hate everything about it, but I genuinely can't see Grimsby still being in League 2 next season. New owners or not.
Excellent channel and this was a really well put together piece. I have subscribed and look forward to seeing more.
Great video. Love seeing this kind of stuff, you've done your research here!
Amazing to think Woodbridge Town haven't even got a site planned and are getting kicked out of their current home in around 5 years. Sad that clubs, especially those that can support the community, can end up homeless.
Woodpecker TV I just hope the new stadia don’t totally take away the character of some of these older grounds.
Brackley Town currently starting to build a new stand, cant wait to see it completed!
Disappointed not to see Cray Wanderers especially after the saga with the Borough and Sadiq Khan
Some nice looking stadiums I wish them all the best.
What is it coming to?! It’s annoying how so many proper, traditional stadiums are now being replaced with soulless out-of-town breezeblocks. Unfortunately it’s happened to my team, and now Torquay, Boston and York are being treated the same. Who next?!
Rio Doherty CFC YT agreed, we’re going to rebuild our stadium but we’re doing it on the original site so hopefully it doesn’t end up as a soulless ground
Ours (Boston) is not really fit for a sustainable future that's why we are moving and we aren't allowed to develop the site its on for various reasons that aren't really public knowledge I would imagine
Luke Nodder Stupid.
Luke Nodder I’m pretty sure the old site is going to have houses built on
Rio Doherty CFC YT I have season tickets for York City FC and they need a new stadium because the area and stadium is out of dates and btw the toilets have spiders so
Good video. Worth a mention that the York community stadium was delayed for over a decade and that our chairman is a tool. Also the colour scheme for the seats are questionable. We wanted safe standing! oh well, it is starting to look pretty good nevertheless.
York city knights Biggest club in york 👍
It looks generic af tbh
We're getting anything stand in the next couple years . Great vid
A very enjoyable video - well done 👍
Question: if a club's new stadium is built on the site of the old one, can you count it as a new ground when you visit it (assuming you've visited the old one, of course).
Oh, the dilemmas we groundhoppers are faced with 😊
This might be use come next year so cool to see the new plans and ideas. Pusb
Nice to see Workingtons picture of the current ground, features the flags of FC United.Probably the last time they saw a large crowd there.
York city's first home game, penciled in for 15/02/20!
At the LNER Community Stadium.
Watching this in 2023 it seems like only York and Gloucestershire stadiums are actually in use of the 10 unless I'm missing something? Kind of depressing.
It is daft for clubs like St Albans to build a 6000 stadium when they average around 1000 or so. Better to make a 3000 with the option of expanding in the future. Having a quarter filled ground makes for a septic atmos and though some grounds are nice, they often come off as feeling like a school sports ground, such as Slough's new Arbor Park. Still Arbor Park is pretty good, the balcony areas etc.
VIDEO SUGGESTION: Yesterday it was announced that Colwyn Bay FC would most likely be playing there football in the Welsh System next season, due to financial issues, after 30+ years in the English System. I wonder if you could make a video on this.
Can you make a video on when the FA cup first started and the teams who first won the first few finals.
Kidderminster is my local team just started following them heard about the new stadium, have these plans been accepted and when will work be started?
Great video. Fylde fan.
Beaconsfield is pronounced Beckunsfield!
Can you make a video on my local football team Eastbourne borough they are in the national league south
ah my local too
And me I live next door to them.
2024 and Torquay are still at Plainmoor and look like they wont be moving anytime soon and Truro were ground sharing with Plymouth Parkway but are now at Gloucester city and the stadium for Cornwall looks like it wont be completed before at least the 28/29 season due to funding issues
The first ever ground i went to was Workington town way back in 1973 v Preston. Think the score was 3-3. Memories....
I football club who’s identity is based around Cornwall rather than the city it’s in is really interesting and I’d love to see them do well
St albans and the New Village did not get planning permission
As a Plymouth fan who watches truro in Torquay I'm glad that will get there new ground, but I'm a realist I will believe both of them and Torquays ground when they actually have bricks and mortar in place especially now the lidl deal fell apart!!
Wimborne Town were looking at building a new stadium but not sure if they still want to build it after being in administration a few seasons back.
How do feel about 8:35 he just lashed out at Bristol City, Bristol Rovers, Swindon Town, Exeter City, Bournmouth and alot more.
The new Forest Green Rovers stadium plans look brilliant.
How about Cray Wanderers moving into a new ground ????
Can you do top 10 non league total budgets.
Hope they're going to put a tree in the new St Albans terracing :)
The new Kidderminster stadium looks very impressive as does the new Torquay stadium.
Finally something on Torquay
I've been to St Albans most times
What about cray wanders with there new stadium or Bromley fc with there new stand
For the future of the club, I accept that St Albans have to move but it would be a shame to leave Clarence Park! It's a tremendous little ground right in the middle of the city centre. If we do eventually move, it'll be missed!
It makes no sense to build a massive 6000 when St Albans average 1000
Aldershot town ???? Their new stadium is going to look brilliant
Interesting. How many of these have happened (York, Gloucester?) and how many cancelled?
Hope all these new grounds work out for all clubs concerned , as a Fulham supporter for 53 years I've been to Torquay , aldershot ,sealand rd Chester , colchesters old ground and to there new grounds and many more and hope not to many are like reading Milton Keynes miles from anywhere and Tesco next door and no pub for miles , oh and chuck Derby in there as well nice but industrial estate , .1995 Fulham 2nd bottom old leauge 4 we got lucky with rich owner and most need one don't they , good site by the way ,oh and have some Fulham fans who are 20 or under moaning about getting relegated to the championship little do they know .
Look at Skelmersdale United it’s mad what’s going on there
Workington's price has jumped up by 10 million due to offices for Sellafield. And it's way too big for the area carlisle struggle to get 5000 so how they expect workington to get that many. I should know I live here, plus they are struggling in the league and could drop into the northern premier so that could mean less people turning up. Even the rugby league team struggle to get people too watch, their biggest gate is the derby game. This is the council wanting the rl world cup then football or a decent rugby league team.
You can now include Southend!
Gloucester City is coming home (football coming home) the ground is nearly completed and will be ready for the 2020-2021 season.
Solihull moors upgrade and what it means for them?
this is cool
Tragic that the classic old grounds like Workington, Boston United and York City are going :(
Been to Kitcat Cresc. & top atmos esp night matches (they turned over my Lincoln side in 2012-13). Got revenge with a 4-1 win there in our National Title wining season of 2016-17.
York St Boston fine old non-league ground too.
LEAMINGTON BOYS YES
Leamington looks exactly like Fylde. Hope they got a discount on the plans.
That’s because our owners visited Fylde and spoke to their owners about their new stadium. They used their designs just to give fans an idea. The final plans are currently been worked on and will be announced once all the usage requirements are confirmed.
Torquay United with a new stadium? Are they giving Plainmoor to Truro then?
York's stadium has been delayed after the news on Tuesday
What about the Woking one? Or has that not been officially proposed yet?
Just seen the plans for the Torquay stadium. Something very fishy about it, stadium looks enormous by far bigger than 10k
Warrington Town should get a new stadium
Warrington Wolves has a stadium that holds 15,000,so i wonder if Warrington Town became successful would they play there??
Mate can you do one on the worst stadium for largest possible support i.e. Chelmsford City 200'000 population, used to get 16'000 now get 800 and the 16'000 was when we were a Town of 90'000. Joke club.
Plus I would say if it was on this list it would be 9th or 10th not 5th
Boston United? I thought they where called New England Revolution. :)
New Woking Community Stadium, announced since this video’s release but still a brilliant modern ground to check out
Do an EFL version 👌🏻
Joely9Hatter it's a non league channel
Listen to video at 5.03 mins moving into the ground in the 1920 season lol
John Rushton no he meant 2019 2020 season 19/20
I want to visit Boston United’s new ground
Do that in league one against Accrington Stanley then.
Why do Kidderminster need to move? nothing wrong with Aggborough
Pitches are way to far from the stands now
What about Plymouth argyle??
Our ground is hardly non league or a new stadium. We have built this bit by bit,&it's just the one resmianing grandstand left to b built then our stadium is complete and impressive. It doesn't belong on THIS list!....
#PAFC #GREENARMY
That leamington stadium looks exactly like AFC Fyleds stadium, copycat ground
Thank you captain obvious
Cool.
I love Bootham Crescent
JDBL I do too but it does need to be rebuilt or a new stadium because of stuff like the toilets
@@jakegibbs8827 The Bogs in Boothams away is a sight to be seen, pissing on a wall with a trough cut in the ground as a run-off...
But I love Bootham, a proper footy ground
Torquay United's New Stadium Plans have been put down.
Boston United
The area has been cleared for the ground. The flats opposite where the ground will be are being lived in, they've even started building a drive through something. Bbbbuuuuttttt, no football ground has appeared yet!
Alex Topley especially considering we were ment to be moving in for the 2016/17 season
What about the racecourse as Wrexham want to redo the kop as they want international football back as it is the oldest international stadium in the worsl
St Albans stadium plan was rejected???!!!ages ago?
As a Boston fan I'm not sure I agree with your placing of our new ground ranking as I feel other clubs have better plans and there clubs have probably actually shared some information other than the announcement for us it could be a while yet till we even get a brick laid.
Also on 8th min why isnt it made yet if it was going to be made in 1920 lol
Cornwall stadium looks good.
8:35 "Best club in Cornwall" ummmm name some good corwall clubs.... I'll name some for you if you can't.
soul of football is being slowly ripped out
1874 northwich should of got in there
They want to play a rugby World Cup game at an 8000 capacity not all seated stadium surly not
*league. It's not a big sport compared to union. Union is better and by far a larger sport.
Hertford fc 100 years same ground were going know where
No city of Liverpool ?
Get smiv to go to kiddy
Scarborough Arnt we
Which is the only Scottish club to win the FA Cup?
4 million £ for a 560 seater stadium?
What about Woking?
5:03 did i hear 1920?
You did! Referred to the 2019/20 season!
@@NonLeagueYT Its all good, Still a legend! Keep up the good videos!
What about borehamwoods

@@nerbleocnotyah2670 i really dont care

@@nerbleocnotyah2670 YEAH BECAUSE I DONT GIVE 1
Where is salfords

Leamington copying us
M A X ur tinpot

Is it me or is he saying that bristol isn't in Cornwall? Come on Bristol are in the championship... Exeter is in league two, same with swindon town. Edit: while searching up on Wikipedia it also shows that bournmouth is a place in Cornwall so that would show that bournmouth is the best football club in Cornwall and that cornwall isn't lacking behind in any talent in football. 8:35
Bristol is in the ceremonial county of Bristol. Swindon is in the county of Wiltshire. Exeter is in the county of Devon. Bournemouth is in the county of Dorset. None of these places are in Cornwall.
@@tomirvin5555 - Bournemouth is nowhere near Cornwall!
New stadiums are just shite compared to the old ones
What about Woking?
Theo Powell no pictures yet or anything like that
