It is built in the on the side of a hill with a view on the city. It was rebuilt because it has been undermined and it was sinking. It also has a anti-bombardment bunker "Mundloch" below it. Hard to find mention about it in English, but if you want I can translate some articles for you.
That new design in Croatia with the cliff face incorporated is abysmal. Where is the flair and creativity? So many opportunities to create a wonderful stadium.

France: Stade Raoul Barrière (Beziers) = I mean, just look at it.. it's just so awesome looking France: Costieres Stadium (Nimes) = old school and wayward stadium, with a very peculiar design .. Slovakia: Futbalový štadión MŠK Žilina (Zilina) = nice design for a stadium, and what a fantastic view of the Tatra mountains..
