Bulgaria's National stadium "Vasil Levski" and CSKA Sofia's ground "Balgarska Armiya" are located quite close to each other. They are both situated in the Boris garden in Sofia.
I was amazed that these didn't even make the list. You should do stadiums that have hosted both the MLS and either Major League Baseball or the National Football League (Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field is built for the Philadelphia Eagles but has played host to Manchester United, the US men's and women's national teams, and the Philadelphia Union), Washington DC's RFK Stadium (Washington Football Team, Washington Nationals, DC United), NYC's Yankee Stadium (New York Yankees, NYCFC) the now torn down Giants Stadium and its replacement in New Jersey MetLife Stadium (New York Giants, New York Jets, New York Red Bulls), Carson, California's StubHub Center (LA Galaxy, Chivas USA, Los Angeles Chargers)... also, stadiums next to odd venues (perfect example being the stadium where Sporting Kansas City plays, which is right next to Kansas Speedway, which I mean, it's right next to turn 2 on the oval)

Clearly there's a big advantage to having a tiny stadium when you use the "centre spot to centre spot" criteria... if either stadium has a stand of any real size in between the two pitches that's going to inflate the distance considerably.
Well that is the point. If you have an Emirates size stadium it has bigger buffers like carparks , fences, other buildings and walkways so that makes "closer" further away
Great work, as ever. On the opposite theme, how about stadiums in the same domestic league that are furthest apart? I know the Russian Premier League had a Vladivostok team at one time.
And then there’s Headingley, a stadium using the same stand for two different stadiums on either side. If this was open to different sports, that might just win xD
Too bad you didn't include Sportpark de Westmaat in Spakenburg, Netherlands. The sports area holds two 'stadiums' of VV Spakenburg and VV IJsselmeervogels, both with a capacity of around 8000, of which the centres of the pitches are only 160 meters away. The Spakenburg Derby is also one of the fiercest rivalries in amateur football worldwide I would say and currently both teams play in the third tier of Dutch football (the highest amateur tier which is now getting more professionalized).
The Coliseum and the Bank of California Stadium in Los Angeles. Even though the Coliseum mostly hosts American NotFotball games for University of Southern California but it still counts in this case because it has hosted real football games too.

But what about 'De Rode Westmaat' of VV IJsselmeervogels and 'De Blauwe Westmaat' of SV Spakenburg. Both teams competing in the Tweede Divisie (3rd tier in Dutch football) and those 2 are just 160 meters apart counting from the middle circle! both stadiums hold a capacity of around 8.000 (at least, that what Wikipedia says).

Nottingham Forest and Notts County should be on the list as you said that the first 2 was 0.3 miles apart and Nottingham Forest and Notts County are only 0.22 miles apart
What would happen if both teams played at the same time- it would be really busy especially for the last one with three stadiums next to each other with >60k capacity
Speaking as a dunder united fan games are aranged so that both teams dont play at home on the same day 👍
Usually the fixtures are made with this consideration. I believe even the Glasgow Old Firm do not play at home on the same day
If it wasn't for the criteria of "a respectable standard of football having been played" in each stadium, then Hampden and Lesser Hampden would definitely be in this list.
Helsinki Olympic stadium and Telia 5g-arena are missing from this list
Do the 7 best stadium of every continent
Best as in biggest or best looking?, either would be a good vid tho

Two stadiums in Bunschoten-Spakenburg in Netherland. Something like 20 meters
