This was so beautiful and touching. What joy you brought to us all. It literally brought tears thinking of the genuine love and care that went into your lovely little doll house 🏠💕.
I do love our sugar box dolls house for exactly that personal feeling it holds :)
Oh, ladies.... this was exquisite. Feel all warm and glowy after watching that. ☺️ Reminds me of when my four kids were little... we always built fairy houses in tree stumps wherever we went on holiday and where we lived on the West Coast of Scotland. Recently we went back to one of our old trees and found a miniature dolls teacup still there after all these years.. 🧡🍂🍁🌳☕️
I think Toby is a good name for him Toby and Bitsy. What a creative little project.
A recycled, mudlarking finds house is brilliant! So inventive and beautiful!
I am so impressed with the little things you make out of scraps… well done
I am taking huge delight in your delight over your miniature creations. Thanks again.
You have flown me back to my childhood! I'm amazed by your creativity, your respect for humble things, and the magic you create!
You bring a beautiful olde worlde charm and atmosphere to the world, like finding something most people have lost in today’s world. Makes me quite emotional for bygone era. Like remembering a beautiful dream. Thank you
Wow thank you that is beautiful! :)
You two made me happy and feel wonderful that you made a dolls room in a dolls house out of found objects. I used to do that when I was little and then I got a lot more stuff from people to add to the dolls house. My daughter has the house now and I miss it so much. I'm thinking that I will start a small one like when I was a child from all the collections I already have, just like you two. Bless your hearts for making me a child again at 73 years young. Susann
That is a wonderful idea I would love to see what you come up with! Thank you so much :)
You 2 live in enchanted harmony where every tiny and dirty rescued item, be they broken or unrecognizable, is treasured, loved, and re-made to live again inside your magical sugar-box dollhouse.
Your creative family partnership and your unabashed joy of the hunt and your love for what you doing, never fails to make me smile! 💗
So sweet. It’s like The Borrowers come to life. Thanks ever so much.
I just started watching your videos so I’m catching up on some older ones. I absolutely adore both of you and all you do! My mothers been gone 6 years but we used to love finding lil treasures on any lil outings we took. I never heard the term mud larking before but apparently it’s what we used to do together. We just called it treasure hunting lol. Your joy of finding the simplest things nature has to offer or the lost and broken treasures of yesterday gives my own soul as much joy as if I were still finding them with my mother. Your skills and imagination are incredible and so interesting to watch. I’m now absolutely addicted to watching your videos! I enjoy them so much thank you for sharing your adventures, treasure finds and craft making projects with me🥰
I have been a dollhouse person for my entire life. I have my great dollhouse from age 10, and the original furniture. I am working on a dollhouse now. I love your show.
My wife has just said your beautiful upcycled dolls house is the most charming thing she's ever seen and can't wait for the next instalment.
I am very glad she liked it :)
Your dolls house is really beautiful I love it
You transport me so many places with your fanciful creations. The little boy looks like a certain little boy who lives with you. You are so loved.
All I could think of watching this lovely video is Sunny and other animals like him that were unloved and unwanted by their former owners and you found them and brought them back to life - lovingly crafting a beautiful forever home for them all. Bitsy, Norma, the little boy and the baby couldn't ask for a better home. The baby looked so comfy in its little crib. Just precious to watch. Thank you!
Thank you so much Robin :)
I just absolutely loved watching you and your mom play with your dolls
Lovely!
Bernie... because he’s a little burnt. Norma, Bitsy and Bernie :)
I think this maybe my favourite along with Boo. So I think we will call him Bernie Boo (although I should probably check with Kate first haha:)
You had me at “dolls house” !!!!
I’ve got four and still collecting but mine are Victorian new makes all by me , and furnished by me you are the finding queens, this is a whole new concept so can’t wait to see what you two find thankyou so much xxx
Turning, history laden throwaways &, nature's baubles into fun fantasy, was entertaining to watch! The doll house so precious, made with love for, I'm sure, a very grateful little girl. Thanks for including me in all your fun!
Thank you so much!
The Green turns to gold and the warm amber glow of the Sun descends into the dark night, where the crackle of glowing embers in the hearth warm the heart and stir the memory's of the summer past and inspire the chill thoughts of winter, yet to come.
A quiet time to watch a little girls imagination turn a simple box in to a home of fantasy and wonder.
We are all travelling through time so very quickly,, seasons come and go and children grow yet the memory's will forever be precious and Golden.
That's simply beautiful...
Really beautiful! Thank you so much :)
@@MudlarkingWithKitCaboodlers A little Lady I know will hopefully be very pleased with the addition to her Grandfathers Xmas shopping list, you inspire more than words :)
That's it I cried after reading your comment it touched me it was so beautifully said
You two are just charming, charming people. I love time spent with you.
Thank you :)
Your beautiful creations are magical. They transport us into your miniature world of whimsy. God bless you for spreading joy
I love the Borrowers. Just love the findings of old things made new.
Love that you make comments about the borrowers🎉🎉🎉
Just stumbled on your channel accidentally, and I'm extremely glad that I did.
How beautiful and natural it is to see you both finding extremely useful things, that are surrounding our environment and we don't recognise their potential.
Thank you for sharing part of your world so we can all enjoy. ❤
Welcome! Thank you very much,we hope you enjoy more of our films :)
There’s no one like you two, you remind me of myself when I was very young, I’m 65 now….still a child 😀
That was so, so cute! That little house that someone made all those years ago for their child you both bringing it back to life and making it wonderful! We just sat here going aww, awwww, awwwww, lol. Kate and Fleur's home for misfit dolls xx
Thanks we are hoping one day it will be filled with lots of dolls. Just need to find more arms and legs haha!!! :)
This is so lovely♡ I used to go on walks like this most every day. Always searching for tiny things. Now I haven't seen the outside for 10 years and will never again go for a walk. My heart breaks a little at that thought. It's hard to be tough all the time. Please keep these kind of videos coming. They help a lot ♡ I still try to make miniatures whenever I can sit up for a little bit. Even if I can't collect for them anymore💔 Thank you for the lovely video♡
We have to bless people like our lovely Kit and Caboodles for taking us on these amazing little adventures, I would love to sail around the world but probably never will, but through channels like this I can travel and see those things. I'm lucky enough to still do plenty of things but still thank the Lord for these super people who do so much work to take us with them.
Kate and I are so sorry for your situation. I can not imagine your heart break. I am glad we can help you in a small way xx
Thank you x
I understand this all to well.
Sending you a hug x
I just love this so much, you have created some lovely things and given the old dolls house a new lease of life, was just thinking when it was made, alot of families had no access to things and maybe money was very tight, obviously made with love and now loved again, thank, you
I am absolutely in love with the doll house! You ladies have done a wonderful job. Love watching you.
Simply enchanting doll house any doll would love 👍🏻💕
How absolutely delightful, incredible crafting and the repairs to the two little dogs are stunning.
I absolutely love the light you used! So atmospheric and beautiful xx
Brings new perspective to the kid waiting by the kitchen sink for the washing up liquid bottle to be finished with... going into the pantry and eyeing up a whole box of sugar, like 'that needs to be a dollshouse!'
This whole video had a fairytale feel to it. I also look forward to the next installment of the doll house.
Toothpast caps make perfect lampshades.
How absolutely charming and I picked up the Borrowers flavour immediately. Such a lovely idea. Loving Kate's outfits, she looks like a doll herself, lovely to see young people enjoying traditional clothing and really pulling it off, much nicer than the awful modern stuff, you're a proper star Kate. Loving the channel so much, a place of peace and sanity in our crazy world.
Thank you so much for that lovely comment :)
I love watching the dolls house come too life, I’m hooked on your channel, and have gone right back to the beginning to watch 🧡
That is so cute, any child from the 20’s, 30’s or 40’s would have loved that house with the dolls. Great job!
What a touching, beautiful video. I have daydreamed about how it would have been to live in older times and you have brought that to life. So sweet. Love all your brilliant creations as well. Thank you.
Love the Antique dollhouse ! Your adorable
miniatures are sweet . The boy would look
Cute in knickers , suspenders , a newsboy
cap or blue jean coveralls. I like the name
Robin or Robby for him . Enjoyed it all.
The lantern was precious .
What a fantastic job you are both doing up cycling the dolls house you are both Truly talented . Can’t what to see the rest being done xx
Ladies, you’ve outdone yourselves. Thank you. It’s all so lovely and cozy.
Simply beautiful ,household ideas, & call him William! Very clever!!
I''ve loved doll house's since I was 5. A few yrs ago I purchased wine boxes, made levels for rooms and was thrilled. My dear friend gave me one of the doll houses her mom had. I let my little granddaughter paint it...we had an amazing time !! As I watch your vid's I'm in awe that you have such a repor with your mum....( my mom didn't want me etc ) I'm Blessed by finding your channel......... !!!
Luckily we are very blessed that me and Kate have such a strong relationship and enjoy the same things :)
You've probably accepted a name for your lad, but Dustin Mudlark, Dusty for short, would be appropriate. Perhaps a future boy, rescued from the soil-filled areas you collect your foundlings, could bear that name. Your efforts in restoring light and life back to those who delighted past children is laudable. Enjoy it all, discovery, rehabilitation, and tiny home making. You are appreciated, by us AND by Them.
That little lantern is precious! What a imagination you both have. Love your video.
MAKE THE LITTLE HOUSE SO PRETTY. YOUR DOING A GREAT JOB ON YOUR PLAY HOUSE ALL THE THINGS YOU FIND IN THE WOODS, ACORNS ETC.
It's so lovely to see your dolls house being restored to its former glory. Such good use of your mudlarking finds.😊❤
Love doing things like this but it’s been a long time. Doing it vicariously through you two. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Shipshewana Indiana , USA
Thank you so much :)
Love to see the little doggies all patched up. :) This is the cutest thing in the world! What I've wanted to do since I was little.
You beautiful lovely people what a very nice video a big thumbs up wonderful.
Thanks so much
I just loved watching your imagination with what you have found, create such a wonderful little bunch of fun objects for the sweet little doll house! Great job!!
Omg that made me quite emotional thinking about a little girl once loving her little sugar box house.you brought it back to life and the music was perfect .it’s so beautiful 🥺🥺❤️
Thank you :)
I so love history and watching it come back to life. One day there won't be anything left. But you're keeping history alive. Being Native I totally love what you are doing 💖🙏
Those squash can be dried. Turning them periodically. And make great little cauldron and cups. I dry out gigantic ones and make huge bowls decorated with Native items.
Our little Kate has, seemingly overnight, become a lovely young woman. Love to you both; you are my inspiration. 💐❤️
Cathy Thompson I have a daughter named Cathy Thompson my first born love her so much
Can't wait to see the top floor finished. Bedroom perhaps? A doll house full of history. Really beautiful. Name him Bernard. Love to you and Sunny cat. 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
Thank you so much :)
Love it!! I saw the little boy and immediately I thought of Toby.
This video is marvellous!
Just to think those poor abandoned dolls and treasures from so many years ago now have a purpose once again. And it is definatly bringing much joy to me watching now I cannot wait until you create even more for your tiny world. Amazing!! 😊♥️
Thank you :)
Absolutely charming! You two are the sweetest most clever ladies!
Dear Fleur and Kate, I just saw this video! I can not tell you enough how much I loved it! It is a video for heart and soul!
Thank you so much! :)
The acorn lantern was inspired! Love your creativity.
Thank you! 😊
It's incredible ! So many treasures ! It feels so wonderful...thank you for sharing !
Your videos always make me feel like we are walking through the pages of the Secret Garden. So whimsical and endearing. Such creativity and a sweet relationship you two have. :) PS, hello sweet kitty! I love it when you mudlarkers include your pets. Makes me feel like we are over for a visit.
What a lucky child if Kate has a child some day! Gran and mum will make her amazing doll houses. ❤️
I love how imaginative you two are! You pick up little bits and bob's and turn them into such incredible items!!!
This is just precious
I have heard so much about the doll house and I am so pleased I got to see it! It is so sweet I love it❤
Utterly adorable.
As someone who loves staging my toys this is just the best!
I live your doll house. Your crafted items are works of art and always impress me. Thanks for sharing!
Such wonderful creations. This was so relaxing to watch. I so look forward to your videos!
Girls, that was just so sweet and so delightful to watch. Thank you
I absolutely love the doll house and all you made to go in it. I collect miniatures of all kinds...love them. great job!!
Charming. The use of everything you found and created new. I’m impressed ladies! 🦋
My mother was a child during WWII, and she would knit with wooden toothpicks. I have a picture of her holding a little piece of knitting on Facebook (at 90yrs she can still do it). I have a black pug, so I enjoyed your (Kintsugi) repair on the pugs.
Lovely! I'd much rather have a doll's house like yours than a store brought manufactured one.
The little boy looks like a Robbie.
I believe the boys name should be Percy Piffledump. That certainly looks like Piffledump Manor. What a delightful place you have made it, with such scope for the imagination. You took things from dumps, rivers edge's, and woods, that folks might think were just nonsense, (thus the name piffle), and built a delightful home for little people. Just like the Borrowers, it brings a true feeling of delight. This was such fun to watch. Thank you so much for sharing.
Thank you so much! :)
The little boy should be called Larkin. 😉 Loved this video!!
Love both of your fashion sense, something out of a story book pretty.
I think Thadiaus or Thad is a perfect name for your little boy doll.
Seeing the design of light on the table from the button lamp base reminded me of one of those paraffin heaters that had a pierced top which made patterns on the ceiling, that would look cute in the dolls house bedroom at night. I’m pretty certain that you have the bits to do it. lol. Adored the miniature cabinet of curiosities.
Oh we will have to try that! :)
This brought me joy!!! Thank you!!!
I just love what you do. I feel like I am doing it with you. Never had a doll house but loved making little rooms out of shoe boxes for little dolls. Donna/Michigan/ USA
Your transformations are so inspirational. I love watching how your creations develop. They are all lovely, but the little acorn cup lamp is divine. I was thinking that maybe the walnut shell may not have broken if you used a thinner smaller hacksaw and blade. Loving your work x
Oh my😮😯, such ingenuity and vision 🙌🏻👍🏻👍🏻!!! You two lovely ladies took bits and bobs and whatcha majigy's and turn them into the most astonishing pieces of furniture and decor accessories. That was an absolutely fascinating video. thank you 🤗😊!!!
Can't wait for the next installment of "This Old Dollhouse Revival"😉🤭.
Love and kitty kisses to Sir Sunny 😻😽, and a big 👋 hello to Steve 🐟 and Tony 🐟. Stay safe precious family 😊🤗🤭😘🥰🙋🏼♀️.
Thank you so much Juliet! :)
I love seeing items given a new lease of life more so if they are dolls and animals , i imagine theyre loving their new cosy home. im 63 now and i had a tin made dolls house long time ago , i would love one now think i would have to call it the granny house though lol . my grandkids ask me "nanna why do you watch people looking through dirt " try to explain but they just dont get it . only just subbed to your channel so ive a bit of catching up to do . loving it .
Oh Ladies how awesome the little house and the sweet tiny boy. Little Oscar or Boo.
Oh Boo is a good idea!
Delightful, so much better than shop bought
Well done ladies. Love your dolls house and all of its contents...so far. Thank you.🧚♀️
Such a precious doll house. The decorations are grand. Love the addition of the little boy doll. Jody is a nice name for him if you agree.
You ladies are absolutely amazing.
I love the wallpaper
Just wonderful, thank you 😊
I just love the little doll house and all your little things you made good job il like Perry for the little boy keep searching and stay safe 🇨🇦
Absolutely adorable! Such a beautiful video. Loving the doll kits too. 💖💖💖
I just love the doll house! It must have been made during the depression. So they used what they had. I think .
I can't wait for Part 2!!! 😀
Hopefully soon :)
Wow and more wow, the art work (all the work on crafting) is fantastic!.
Thank you so much!
