Expecting more movement glitches next season, fingers crossed
I wonder if with the rev Q you can look straight down to get one with no height and just a fast slide on the ground or some sort of other unique thing.

I'm New to the game but kinda wished they let people choose between Old&New/Rev because people put alot of time into perfecting their skills and now all that is gone for rev mains
@@BlueBARv5 from what I am seeing, the only significant tech from rev that would be changed would be totem blocking which is very niche. All of his new mechanics are either buffs or new movement to explore.
He looks so fun. I play him a little but Wraith and Loba are my mains. I love movement and always thought he felt like he should have a movement ability.
I’m sure everyone is going to use him now that he’s great. It’s odd that you would want him to change if he is your main character.
Idk why nobody is talking about how Rev's ult recharge, stacked with a red shield swap is 200 free hp instantly + a new jump to change position. It's gonna be insane for aggressive 1v3s
Next season would be fun for maggie main, double shotty pk+mastiff would be crazy

I just got an insane idea, it looks like you might be able to use the dash in the air, what if you combo it with Octanes jump pad, it would be insane if it actually works, also i think i might gain a new main
I expect it to work like it has already worked with Vantage. I'll definitely do a comparison between Rev vs Octane vs Vantage and a Rev reborn movement guide.
It's possible they'll do something like they did with loba where she can use her jump drive in combination with octane's jump pad and how they stopped her using it on gravity cannons.
Gained a new main? nah us rev mains have been waiting YEARS for this, don’t switch up now that he’s actually good. This is for US. Stick to your mains and leave us alone

I really like the rev rework. I also like how they are going towards the style of getting kills during your ult will benefit you greater than a regular kill. Like with Bloodhound and their current ult

Not to mention Rev getting a **passive** that always shows low health enemies (something that others require ults or tacticals for an equivalent). Prepare for brain dead pushes on you or from teammates all the time. Maggie, rev, octane teams. Fckn hell

I was a hardcore Hunter main back in Left4Dead2 Versus mode. Love to see that rev reborn has a somewhat similar ability. I'm a wraith main, but for this I might give him a chance.

Im kinda torn because theyve done exactly what i want to him; kept his passive (improved it even), changed his tactical to movement, and completely reworked his ult to be a self serving shadow mode. Exactly what i wanted for since he was released. Only reason im torn is that while he is currently a free pick for me in most matches, he now i believe will be selected in absolutely every match. Kinda sad hes gonna be going from rarely picked to picked all the time, but im happy to have all the changes.

Havoc with Select Fire is probably now the only weapon with Hit Scan. Though I only see that if it enters the care package having it in tandem with Turbocharger.
We did not need more scans.

air strafes allow for similar properties of tap strafing. just move the stick around the joy stick until u are at about 8 or 4 O’Clock. especially crazy on horizon

Rev Ultimate is basically a passive kunai spy. Does it stack though?
they're likely going to be making dive trails a thing you have to pay for now. they already added one with Valks prestige skin, which also works on literally every other legend.

hey mokey idk if it was already discovered but as far as I know on console if you superglide while charging the tactical you can avoid the locked arms stretched animation
I’m going to guess they took out skydive trails so that they can push it heavily in the shop (soon to come)
I think the Q ability is fine because some people do have a movement-centric playstyle, but I'm not happy with what they are doing to the Z ability. Quite disappointed, tbh.
Z ability looks EXTREMELY weak compared to Death Totems.
i agree, its a very soulless ability and gets rid of revenants entire gimmick
@Sheridan2LT It's imo going to be way stronger. You should be straight up winning your gunfights against enemies when in it. 75 extra HP is a lot. Definitely a lot better than using totem and your whole team being immediately sent back.
I mean it's only 25 health less than the totem and you don't get sent back so you get to stay in the fight. I'd say it's a W.
i only use movement people when this drops rev is going to be my new main and im honestly so happy an actual movement legend with new tech is going to be so fun to have fun movement but get to use a whole different tech is going to be awesome i wasn't sure who my next heirloom would be but now i know.

Nemesis is overpowered. Especially in mixtape due to infinite ammo.
I'd be perfectly happy if they only aloud the charge up if used with a turbo charger.
They should have classed him as a recon class. He can get easily high into POIs. It also fits better into his theme that he can scan to find his next victims.
I feel they should give octane the ability to see jumpads through walls or in different areas so oc players can maximize movement routes
I remember first playing this game a few years ago,I just wanted a legend that can get in and get kills and my freind recommended rev and i've just stuck with him ever since, but THIS is what I wanted back then and I'm glad I don't have to switch off rev

@@Sheridan2LT the prowler's the only spray weapon you can reliably hipfire without praying rng is on your side. the nemesis has no recoil at 150 metres & kills you in 2 seconds no matter where you are
i main the triple take, i like hipfire that doesn't shoot the bullets out at a 45 degree angle from the barrel

I think they are adding 3 legendaries to the BP based on the fact we saw the pathy Maggie and maybe a Valk it was very short so I couldn’t tell and obviously mokey said he couldn’t say yet so I’d guess that’s it
I’ve mained rev since he came out so this is like a gift from god. But I’m still very worried. His ult is so outrageously overpowered every team will have a rev. And the fact everyone gets rev free during the season and can unlock him though quests makes him extremely accessible and means the whole meta will be based on countering one ledgend.
the real reason to dive trails removal, they added prestige dive trails (aka whale trails), and since they look identical to some trails from ranked (new ones will most likely also be identical to other seasons dive trails) the two options would be to see an entire lobby with yellow trails (since its the only prestige trail currently) and would also have blue, purple and red colors removed from normal trails, or remove ranked trail so you can use all colors instead of locking a prestige trail to one color.
tlrd they removed ranked trails so they could shove wallet warriors trails into the game.
The battlepass changes could possibly be that u will be able to buy tiers or interact with the battlepass with LTokens. This might not be the case but its a possibillity
They should make all burst guns keep bursting with the trigger held like the Nemesis just for consistency.

That's all I need to hear, honestly. I know it's super difficult to make changes for something that basically enables an entire input to be viable, but the current version is super annoying to get oneclipped by. If they're looking into it, I'm sure they'll figure something out that's fair to everyone.

I think you’ll be able to do a sorta wall run with rev if you jump or something (pretty much being near the wall but not touching it more like a sideways wall jump) maybe if your climbing you can use the dash ability and you could move faster to the side but idk till I can test it

@Monkeysniper I was messing around in the firing range and noticed that if you look down while using Rev's tactical you get lanched forward with insane speed and can combo this into a slide and presumably other movement tech (Im a causual controller player so idk)
You probably already figured this out but its pretty cool if you havent.
We have already gotten info that the charge rifle charge will go down if you release the trigger

Dude, yesterday i figure out how to do backward supedglide. It's like normal side glide but with tapstrafe. All you need to do is hit A or D on supedglide and then hit S+opposide key and tapstrafe. I get interestedr in this sort of supergliding while watching Lemonhead and accidently figure out how to do it
Nemesis just needs the charge time held to be slightly shorter or if they want to really nerf it make it require turbocharger.
I hate the strafe speed change to SMGs as a nerf, that's so goofy.

i figured it out if you use superglide while holding "Q" (with a gun in your hand) and hold to "Q" not long you can jump with your weapon in your hand

i just realized that his new dash is very simmilar to Fuchs dash that U designed, so that makes two abilities that U predicted/influenced (second one being octaine jumppad)
Hopefully they keep the nauruto hand signs when you pop ult

@Mokeysniper since the new season startet i get every game a lot of fps crashes where my fps going down from like 190 to 100 but you can feel that the screen is not smoth for like 2 sec every time and i get that a lot of time you know any fixes for that?

As the worlds most hyped revenant main, this rev change might be the thing that gets me back into Apex
I kind of feel like with all these game modes Apex can become the new go to game for every shooter you want (apex dust2 would go CRAZY). I love the movement so much this is only better for me, Titanfall made some of the only good movement in fps movement 9 years ago and we just needed respawn to make more multiplayer modes to see the true extent of their artistry.

Personally wish the charge rifle didn't have bullet drop. I'm fine with it being a projectile, but I feel the drop + charge means it's going to be too much to coordinate

This kind of concerns me as a Mirage main, because will Revenant's passive reveal the real critically injured Mirage player amongst his clones? Hopefully, the clones deployed will be revealed if an injured Mirage player deploys the clones in critical condition.

the r301 is in a good spot in the dev's eyes!? that weapon TTK is atrocious that enemies you dont miss a single bullet on still has enough time to react and get into cover

Octane is still gonna have the stim and that makes him more consistently fast so I mean rev is only fast when his tactical is active (octanes tactical has a short cooldown and I’m assuming revs tactical will be like 15-20 second cooldown)

I don't want to make any assumptions but the stickiness of his wallclimb makes me think you won't be able to keep the momentum to chain wallruns together with that special tech. Hopefully that isn't the case and if not we'd better be able to wallhop.
