I know; I got loans both under Trump (first draw) and Biden (second draw). The loans were designed to retain employees; if you had laid off workers already, why would you get any loan?
      Everyone with a legit business who applied with the right docs got a loan. If you didn't, you're probably an ex-con or have defaulted on an SBA loan in the past. Tough luck.

Then he paid the original amount back. If I stole 14 million dollars and invested it for a year, should I get to keep the profits? It's amazing how stupid u ppl r!!!

      @@HumpDaddy01 He did not break the law. Was Paul talking about the PPP or EIDL? There are two different disclosure processes for either and his question had to be adjusted to suit which one he was asking about. Did he do that? Because it looks like he did not... He even said at the end that he “thinks” it was in regards to the EIDL...

      He applied for government loans (the government doesn't make money, it uses ours) in order to "sustain a business and it's employes" with stipulations. Three weeks after he expands his business, part of the contract was to not expand.

      The money goes into the company so people don't lose their jobs. It's sole purpose was to keep the doors open long enough for the company to become profitable again. Whether or not the load was needed is a completely different matter that I'm sure we'll hear more about as the vetting goes on.

      Im still waiting on my first ppp loan . Self employed with no workers and the company I did the work behind had their owner retire after catching covid. They told me I could only get $3500 and even got as far as giving me an sba loan number and they can't even manage $3500 when this guy has gotten $14 mill?
      I had the same hassle with unemployment for 11 months. Had to sell my truck and a few other possessions to get by. Guess I picked a bad time to work for myself last year but damn... hearing this boils my blood!
