Did you ever challenge what Randal Paul says? I did. I found him to be a liar who happens to target someone for no real reason at all, which in this case happens to be Dr. Fauci.
Did you for example notice how Randal always names something gain-of-function why it is not that which is being said in Fauci's answer? Randal repeats gain-of-function so much so it becomes a buzzword and for the laymen it becomes synonymous to a red flag and associated with Dr. Fauci.
Did you know gain-of-function can also happen unintentionally f.e. ? So when you fund one type of research that does not plan gain-of-function and it happens anyway (because of nature), does that really mean you fund gain-of-function?
Did you know that gain-of-function itself is not as important as what it is applied to? Some virusses are more dangerous than others.
Did you know that Randal misrepresnted the emails of Dr. Fauci and have you ever looked at them yourself when they were made public, ever since?

The good ones admit this reality; the bad ones are like Dr. Fauci. As for Senator Paul, he has the unfortunate burden of trying to protect his constituents from an authoritarian collusion of executive authority and bureaucratic "expertise" that is quickly evolving into the kind of dehumanizing dystopia you could once only read about in fiction. Moreover, he clearly *does* have facts (the dates of definitions being published, admission of previous gain of function, etc.), but unfortunately we live in a society that disregards common sense and general reasoning for, again, "expertise" and degrees. At the very least, these interviews should provoke more serious scrutiny on Dr. Facui & co. What's the worst that can happen? If he is innocent, he will be vindicated, and then Senator Paul's detractors will have just cause to complain.

I'll translate the hearing a little bit for you. Randal attempts to make Dr. Fauci say things he wants, not what Dr. Fauci has to say. Gain-of-function is a really good example here and thanks to Randal, as good as all his followers who comment on him here do not seem to have a clue what it really entails. Randal oversimplifies it and really reaaaally does not take the whole discussion seriously.

what I find sickening is that little kids wear masks outdoors alone.
